WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

**** the Vision. I can't think of many cool and/or interesting robot type characters. The whole dynamic falls flat for me. The Vision is boring and lame. Just another case of a robot taking the spot of a minority on a superhero team.

I dunno what it is but I guess I outgrew all the robot **** quicker than others. It's like Terminator is a cool movie but that about it. I can easily flip and say **** em especially when this **** becomes reality. **** I, Robot, **** skynet, **** the Matrix, **** androids, yup you too Data, **** the original human torch, **** Johnny 5, **** Wall-E, **** Mega Man, **** em.
Zik doesn't care about robots

I'm on the way to this extra casting for Antman. Hopefully I get on but I really just want to see if I can get a peak of a set in the very least.

My t-shirt is dope though

That's a surefire way to not be cast.

Lol even though many of the casting agents had on Marvel t-shirts :rolleyes

Came back from the casting and their were some SEXY woman there. They are doing callbacks starting Monday and I don't know if I'll get one but one of the girls complimented my shirt and gave me her number :D

Doc Strange not an origin film.

Devin Faraci of Badass Digest appeared on Meet The Movie Press alongside Mark Reilly and Jeff Sneider. There, he revealed, Dr. Strange is not an origin story.

"So, for Dr. Strange they've had a script in-house forever. It is a pretty standard origin story for Doctor Strange. It's got Baron Mordo as the bad guy. That's all gone. Marvel's new thing is no more origin stories. So, Dr. Strange movie no longer has an origin. It begins in medias res. It has Dr. Strange already established as the Sorcerer Supreme. It is a totally new script. Jon Spaihts is working totally new, On his own, without any of the previous stuff. Not even touching the previous script." - Devin Faraci

That's actually pretty awesome in the sense that Marvel is starting to realize they can do whatever the **** they want :rollin

Makes Marvel seem even more bad *** in my eyes

Kinda disappointing, because I was actually interested in an origin story for Dr. Strange. Arrogant doctor reformed into a sorceror. I could've dug it.

Doing new character in media res speeds up the marvel timeline a bit. Probably catching everybody up so they can throw these characters into a super team up movie by the time Avengers 3 comes along.

Black Panther is definitely someone I'd like to see done without an origin

I looked up Dr. Strange and apparently Feige says it's going to be an origin story, last he talked about it.

The person who's reporting that Marvel is going to be changing it up works for Badass Digest, not Marvel. Not sure how much stock to put on his report.

I'm fine either way but if they go with no origin movie I feel they can make it 2 hrs and at least dedicate 15 min to origin retelling. Like flashbacks or something. I feel it's still a good visual to see Strange as the arrogant surgeon, the car crash and damaged hands, and the hike up the mountain to meet the Ancient One, and some magic training.

It would actually make sense in the timeline if he was already Sorcerer Supreme since SHIELD was already aware and keeping an eye on him according to Cap 2 unless they are setting the origin years ago.

I don't know about y'all but I'm pretty much DONE with yet another origin movie. Part of the reason I liked GOTG so much was because it wasn't one. Marvel loves them because they don't need to talk about the villains at all.

Eh, Thor don't count cuz it wasn't that good especially from an acting/story perspective if you want to talk about going arrogant to not.

IM was good on that but I wouldn't mind seeing the take with the Dr.

It counts breh. That's pretty much the plot.

I'm saying it don't count cuz it wasn't that good. Not cuz it that's not what it was about. It's just mad forgettable on a quality level.

I think if it was done with Dr Strange it would be way better.
GotG was definitely an origin movie

Maybe not an individual origin movie but the origin of the team
An origin of how they got together but not another "coming of age" story like the others.
There was a bit of coming of age for Quill throughout.

Thing is you can't name a super hero movie that was a "coming of age" origin for an entire team. Can't be done in the usual amount of time. That's why you won't see it.

If they do go through with an origin story for Dr Strange they got to be careful to avoid Tony Stark syndrome. Arrogant white man with money living it big. If they're not careful the beginning of the Dr. Strange movie might look a lot like the beginning of IM1 prior to Tony getting kidnapped in that cave.

Feige stated that he wants Dr. Strange to be the new corner stone of the MCU but I think he mentioned that just in the event that RDJ really calls it quits after a 3rd avengers film, which I doubt he will because the money is ROLLING in. Strange is a little to wacky to have audiences jump into it and just approve of magic in the MCU. Scarlett will be using magic in A2 but strange is where they'll have to go in depth. If Feige is so obsessed with strange it's best he does it right with an origin story. Because he's already been acknowledged in the MCU the movie should take place in the past before the current events of where his movie will take place which is in phase 3. Give the movie a time lapse but you're going to have to take at least 45 mins to explain to the casual fans what's up with Strange. Marvel is getting too gassed up...
