Why? You can't argue one is more popular than the other.I thought I just got banned from NT being in the Michael Brown thread
...but Black Panther should have a film before strange...
I mean folks aren't asking for a BP trilogy yet. We just want one film. They can have the film about Vibranium and someone like Klaw trying to gain unlimited access to it or something like that. From then, surround him with other heroes.I feel the only thing stopping Marvel coming through with a female superhero flick first is the script. Feige probably wants the best one possible to blow **** out the box. So even if a WW or Spider-Woman comes around they'll be 2nd place.

Strange has the whole magical realm of Marvel to himself, that's unlimited potential while BP has a country and some lame villains.
There's a lot of other cool stuff to him and his world but it isn't all apparent on a surface level. A BP film would be something new on to itself if they don't water it down. Some things would be a struggle. I'd pretty much want them to give dude somebody else's villain just to give him more shine cuz the guy named himself after an ape or w/e is whack. They'd have to get somebody great to be the villain and focus on the villain being much better than their past ones if they were to go with Klaw. Shame they can't make BP take on Doom or Namor (not a whole lot of other threatening rulers who are villains). I'd probably make him take on the whole Lethal Legion on his own or something, maybe led by Klaw.
Then there's the whole origin thing. If Marvel is about to stop that I'm not sure if that's a plus or negative for BP. Again imo half flashback would be the best way to approach it. If they do his origin that might not be the best story as opposed to him already being king, having some powers and just being a badass.
