Not at the Hulk's max, but he's no slouch either. He's knocked Hulk out before. Hulk's greatest strength is that the angrier he gets the stronger he gets.

Also "human level" IIRC Cap is at about 1600lbs and Moon Knight's varies from 1200-2000 lbs. How is that even close to human level. 2-3x Olympian level.
Not anymore. When Hulk first came out he wasnt popular since he was seen as a thing ripoff and they were about equal then. Comparing thing to base level Hulk is not farfetched.
Tho I agree that thing should be in the class that he is in since Namor can take him.

Just because I said Thing doesn't belong in the same ranks as Hulk doesn't mean he is a slouch.
Hulks max is what separates him from the rest so obviously you got to rank him to his limits.

Yeah but then if we're talking max, Thing and Silver Surfer would both be at the top of that list as well, right alongside Hulk.

To the original Black Panther vs. spidey though
again BP is basically Batman but Smarter and more Agile.
BP is Reed Richards smart with Captain Americas Strategic level
in a one on one he'd beat spidey.

I always thought namor was appropriate but thats out of water.
Black bolt should def be higher. World War Hulk. hulk was pretty much maxed out. he beat the breaks off black bolt. but the regard bolt was regarded as. He should def be Thor level.

Things max is close to Hulks max? I'd have to see that, as you said he get his strength with anger and you'd have to take that out of the equation for Thing to match up well with him then that just means Hulk has another tier to go and get stronger.
Thing will get demolished by WW (green Scar) and World Breaker Hulk. I just don't think the Thing is up there with the Hulk, he's got to be a tier below at least.
And to be fair Hulk beat a Black Bolt clone in WW.

Namor can definitely beat thing out of water which is why Im saying thing is appropriately place. Thundra should be able to take him as well and they are not Hulk/Thor level
I think we can all agree that Black Bolt should be top tier.
Silver Surfer is definitely higher than 3rd tier. Prolly stronger than 2nd tier as well but he keeps losing fights to people in the first tier

The problem with max for any character is that it's inevitably pushed even further, and there's therefore no actual limit to it. Thing, Thor, Hulk by this point are in the 100 ton range in terms of strength. Hulk can get stronger with rage, and Thing and Thor at various times hold back, and then later pull off an even greater feat. Under the ocean, Namor's strength, like other characters, has been stated to have no limit. Silver Surfer can continually amplify his strength with the Power Cosmic. Black Bolt falls behind in terms of physical strength, but his scream/voice is also limitless as far as I know. Etc.

Yeah that's not happening lol Silver Surfer has flown through a sun before. Out of the above list i'd honestly place him, Hulk, and Thor as the absolute strongest. (Probably throw in Hercules too)

Black Bolts voice being limitless in power has no bearing on the physical strength part of the discussion. That is overall power just like Silver Surfer could possibly remove all the gamma in Hulks body with his Power Cosmic and turn him to Banner and just snap his head off?
The charts/comic I've posted also only measure super strength so again the other powers they have are moot. Like oyu wouldn't put Jean Grey on the top because she can telekinetically (I know not a word) lift 5,000,000 tons.
But a battle between Hulk and Thing will mostly be pure strength and Hulk will win out because he can just keep harnessing through his anger. That is not even mentioning his other power like unlimited stamina, healing factor, etc... Yes Thing is durable but I do not remember him having unlimited stamina or healing factor the same level as Hulk or Wolverine.
But now if we are simply talking about strongest power overall then that changes the whole discussion.

I wasn't ever saying Thing wouldn't lose a fight in the end, simply that he can be placed on the same scale as the Hulk, as can the Silver Surfer (Because strength wise Surfer's power can again increase, just like Hulk's can) for that matter.

And I am saying since the Hulk can go to the next tier up that Thing can't be on the same scale/level. He'll always be a tier below the Hulk.

Placing him on another tier is honestly the exact same thing as placing him at the top of the same tier, because it happens for the same reason. Hulk fights Person-X, is losing, and if Person-X doesn't knock him out in time Hulk will eventually be stronger than Person-X, and if there's no reason for him to calm down his strength will just keep growing. 
Thing is in the same tier as the other characters at the top of that list with Hulk. So you'd really just have to give Hulk his own tier altogether. Though you then have to do the same for the Surfer, and Thor, etc.

With Thor and Hercules saying the same thing
And Surfer capable of saying the same Super strength, speed, endurance, stamina, hearing, etc. Flight, immortality, healing,energy manipulation
Tony being on the list depends on where the person who made it is capping the strength level at. Because his armor is capable of comparable strength feats.
EDIT: And he can always just build a newer one to be even stronger.

Iron Man being there is sort of a joke they did it seems. With a high enough energy source he charge his armor to be in that tier for two seconds. lol
