Fox owns Fantastic Four, so the studio couldn't really tie in a proper intro of Spider-Man or his first villain Chameleon because the Fantastic Four appeared in the #1.
So the Lizard seemed more plausible than Green Goblin.

Marvel is really ******* up Spider-Man's legacy with these incomplete movie series. And these studios looking to cash in are making it worse. Top tier Marvel characters are being ruined and it's ruining the nostalgia and fantasy of the comics.

These film studios need to stay out of the creative process and let the original creators and the studio's creative department come up with something good.

Bp. Is one of the best heroes in the Marvel Universe. Hes practically batman with atleast spiderman strength.(not too much weaker)

Spidey strength level is 10 tons. BPs is 800 lbs. So yeah he is a lot weaker. With that said he'd put the 12 year old boy in his place

Fox owns Fantastic Four rights yeah, but that doesn't stop Marvel/Sony from using Chameleon or Kraven, it only stops them from involving FF in the story.

Marvel sold off the Spider-Man rights when they were going bankrupt. They are now just trying to get things back to right when working with Sony.

It would be really easy for Sony/Marvel to create a story with Chameleon.

The face cloaking tech from AoS has already been introduced to the MCU.

Chameleon can disguise himself as one of Peter's teachers or pretend to be Stark or any other Avenger.

You can have Avengers in the film without really overshadowing Peter/Spider-Man

According to this: http://marvel.wikia.com/Strength_Scale

Spider-Man - 20 tons (Original and now current strength level due to reality being altered during the events of "One More Day")

However keep in mind that...

It should be noted that these values are strictly there for officially comparing different characters in relation to each other, and not remotely to be taken literally.

For example, certain characters who have been listed at "95" or "100" tons at some point have demonstrated a planetary level of strength, and even Spider-Man has moved thousands of tonnes on occasion.

Here's part of that strip where Spidey belongs that's easier to read:

Yeah, the second two pics are hard to read but I could make out most things.

Thing "Of all the bum rape I ever got"??

was trying to figure out who emily blunt was and she was the chick in edge of tomorrow. She's an "OK" choice I feel like captain marvel needs to be a little younger have more meat on her bones.

Wait 10. Tons....that doesn't seem right for some reason. That seems more like venom #s

A guy that can jump 30-40 feet in the air, doesn't seem like he can lift tons to you? You need to be major strong to be able to swing yourself in between buildings without feeling like your arm will get pulled out of its socket :lol

Seeing that old comic strip made realize how old some of these comic books characters really are. wow.

i like the idea of Kraven. gonna have to read up on that comic. MU FTW!

i would like to see Spidey fight Iron Man then switch sides to Caps team like in the comic.. :smokin

For those that doubt Spider-Man's strength

^That's him webbing a tank and swinging it into another tank :lol

And for those doubting Black Panther

^That's Spider-Man equating a hit from Black Panther to a tree falling on him.

And yes, what you're thinking is right, Captain America IS trash compared to both these characters.

'BP knocks Spiderman out'

Riggghhhhht.

:rollin
Only way it end if they actually make them fight.

This aint the grown man Spidey in your head, it's an inexperienced child. He'll hop around dodging until that one critical blow where even his spider sense won't make a difference.

Underestimating Spider Man because he's a child? Many a villain have done that, sir.
No I'm not. I'm just estimating grown Man T'Challa appropriately.

Keep in mind you said villains have underestimated him and they are filled with flaws both physically and psychologically.

10 (correction 20) tons of force excerted from a 200lb man's legs is actually enough to jump over buildings if not all of manhattan. Dude doesnt even need to swing anywhere :lol

Im gonna write to spidey's power decades too late. There is no way Silver Surfer is weaker than Namor and The Thing. Im pretty sure Black Bolt is in the same classification as Thor and those other guys
