Only on the 94-95 team
Wasn't quite his Portland self. Still very good

Yea agreed. Just some really good pieces surrounding Hakeem. Got them a ring while MJ was gone.Only on the 94-95 team

had Clyde Drexler out there. Bonafide just came off the 92 Dream Team. On the 95 championship team anyway.Rockets 93-95
Had some very good pieces but it was a one man show
Young Robert Horry, Sam Cassell, Kenny Smith,Yep and Otis Thorpe the year before
yea back to back championships while MJ was trying to be a baseball player. Lotta folks take Hakeem as the best Center ever. Kinda hard to argue he wasn't the most skilled. So it was a one man show though, especially 93/94.
Ewing is no Hakeem.Hakeem was dominant for 3 years but hes not close being the best center of all time
Ewing with a similar cast took the Rockets to game 7 not having the home court
Bird is a top 5-10 player all time and Dirk is top 15-25.
You ****boys making it out to be like someone compared Vince Carter and Michael Jordan.
Well Hakeem got 2 rings. Ewing has 0.
Hakeem had the best post moves of any big man in my opinion.I would rather consider that hakeem was more agile and had better moves than ewing.
Sorry, but vince is not even in the same sphere with dirk. Vince carter was great in dunking and offensive wise good But his defense was bad, clutch and leadership only average. His prime was also quite short.
Dirk was 2 times in the finals and won 1 championship. His performance has been quite stable without many ups and downs. He is now even the 7th alltime scorer.
dirk is one of those underrated nba players in the USA Only because he's a foreigner And his playing style is not spectacular.
Bill Walton thinks so.

Just wondered if others felt that he was overrated as an "athlete", or if the perception of him being a great athlete is based on his skills and championships.
Hakeem is on a different tier than Ewing. Ewing is on that David Robinson tier. Hakeem is on the top tier. He wasn't just blocking shots and destroying the paint, he was also agile enough to avg 2 steals per game. Hakeem is usually the only person I'll even argue about when "Best Center" convo comes around. Hakeem or Shaq (again, I don't mention Wilt because he played in the 50sHakeem had the best post moves of any big man in my opinion.
Kareem is up there with Shaq and Hakeem if not above.
agreedKareem, Wilt and Russell all have greater claims to being the best center ever or Hakeem and Shaq
Dude is just naming his favorite players
