Anyone else have issues with the note 2 not charging? I have it plugged into the charger and it still died. And yes, the lighting symbol was inside the battery symbol.

I'm looking to upgrade and looking for an android with the best battery life. All I know of right now are the Razr Maxx HD and the Note 2. Any other phones out there with exceptional battery life?

Your S3 isn't obsolete just because these new phones are dropping. It's still a perfectly good phone and if you didn't care what others were using this phone can easily last you 2+ years.

Those two will last you a great amount of time BUT..Da RAZR should last you forever.

You know Samsung said they're going to bring a lot of the features on the S4 to the N2 and S3...so soon you might be able to cop a N2 for the low with most of the S4 features.

I'm now thinking that the Note 3 is going to be just a small update like the S4.  This Note 2 is already insane.  There really isnt much else needed

This means the Galaxy S II and Note received an update from 2.3.6 to 4.0.4 to 4.1.2 and will stop at Android version 4.2.2. The devices which will be getting the Android 5.0 update are the Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, Note II, Note 8.0 and Note 10.1.
