VMV INC. and the rest of these early sellers EXPOSED!

ITT: Some of US argue that authenticity is determined simply by shoe quality, OTHERS argue that it there is some arbitrary value in an invisible jb stamp of approval.
which is dumb as hell especially what they consider product these days

Honestly, my thougths are just because it's not from a JB account doesn't mean that they aren't real. Especially with the quality of some of my J's that I have received from official JB accounts. SOme of my shoes are beyond sloppy. I can deal with paint and glue errors, but when the stitiching is all the way off or the leather or rubber is cut wrong/slanted, it just kills me!

I'm not vouching for mentalkicks, but I can say they stand by their word. I ordered an extra pair of concords from them in January. I put them side by side my pair from nike.com....and honestly I saw no difference minus the horrible smell from the glue or chemicals used. I contacted mentalkicks and asked for my money back because I thought they were fake because of the smell. No questions asked they gave me my money back. Fast forward to the next month in February when I bought my cement 4's from finishline. THE 4'S HAD THE SAME HORRIBLE SMELL THE CONCORD'S FROM MENTALKICKS AND THE 4'S CAME FROM A RETAIL LEGIT STORE!! It just had me thinking that maybe the concord's from mentalkicks were legit. Either way, I told myself if I had to question authenticity, then I just will never order from a site again.

so because you were misinformed, most likely from this site, you jumped the gun and and caused that company to loose money and gave them an unwarranted bad name?

so let me ask you this, when you "decided" that the shoes were legit did you then do the morally right thing and notify the company of your error and offer to resend them the money?

my guess is most likely not...

I saw thi on a fb group I'm in, flysoleciety.com are doing pre-orders for the breds for 300. They claim 100% authenticity or money back. Shoes ship mid-nov. I feel its shady so I'll stay away. Take my chances on RD. Anybody cop from there? They're a socal place. Red flag when they say all sales are final with no refunds or exchanges.

I think it should be noted that the two ppl making the biggest defence of these sites do not own a single early release sneaker. (At least that's what I've seen them post numerous times...correct me if Im wrong guys)

Im not sure why Eltouha and Ninjahood continuously defend something they have no interest in.

Anyways...

Im not tryna argue with you guys.....we did that last year and the truth is.......you dont know for sure that what youre saying is correct....and granted neither do I or anyone condemning these sites.

So with that being said.....its up to each individual to do his research and make his/her own decision.

After my experience with the Ray 13's and BC3's last year....it would be tough for me to agree with anyone that these sneakers are the same as what we buy in store.

i understand your position, dro. i really do not have any interest in early release shoes, that is true. although i do appreciate early pics of releases, ever since the early air randy days.

i have the grey market rays, and they are nothing like the many fakes we all shake our heads at. aside from that one case, i argue on a matter of principle. i honestly do not think the common counterarguments have any merit. it's just more hype imo.

I never said that they were legit. I said it made me THINK that maybe they were legit. If you're going to use the moral card, at least quote and understand me correctly. Smh

How could they say 100% authentic or your money back, and then say no refunds or exchanges?

Thats the same thing I was thinking. I re-read it and it says all sales are final (order cannot be cancelled or changed). I guess the only way they refund is if you prove to them that they are fake? The fact that they get them a month before rd doesnt sound right. I mean retail stores dont get em til one or two weeks before rd. How does a warehouse in LA get em that far in advance? Wont take my chances though. Online or bust for me.

i suggest that you do you and bump what anyone else has to say about where you get your kicks from.  If you like the shoe and there is no definitive proof that what you are buying isn't legit then go for it.  And even if you do believe they are "fake" it's still your decision to make.  Believe me when I say, that outside of these forums,NO ONE CARES!

Yo Ninja, tell me this broski...

When did having a pair of B grades become having a pair of fakes?

:lol

If this was 2002 dudes would be calling them B grades and keeping it moving. Nowadays its a big deal.

But I'ma keep it funky with these sneakers like I always have. I'ma cop from my shops/malls and do my personal legit checks. Another mans feet don't matter to me.

Ninja ain't lying about none of the **** he said either. I ain't ever seen a pair of fakes with real carbon fiber. If its got legit materials and come from the same damn place, how they hell are they fake? :lol

Some of ya'll are just rustling your own jimmies

Here's my experience with early release shoes. I copped a pair of 2012 Bred IV's in mid August from eBay $220 shipped(sold them week before bred 4 release for $240shipped

 )

I checked my pair (sz 10.5) against early promo pics of the 2012 pair everything checked out including the box, the materials, the sizing, even had TWENTY TWELVE on the tongue. IMO if you deal with an early release site that is legit and you have a feeling you can't cop release day, copping from an early release site is a totally viable way of getting the shoes you need.

I think there is a difference between grey market and outright fakes like ninjahood said, but there's nothing out there to confirm how much of our speculation about these early releases is true.

Just trying to figure out what people think of this:
Are all early release pairs fake even the ones that are identical in every way to the ones you get on release day?
Or are only the ones that are "different" considered fake?
Because I agree that non-authorized is not the same as fake.

I bought my DMP raging bull pack from Osneaker.com in 2010 and my W/cement 4s from them earlier this year both LEGIT. I also have fire red 4s and bred 4s from FNL, my fire red 4s looked cheaply made of the three. I can't say whats going on there now maybe all the PE shoes they have may make the site look suspect. Having pairs in hand really is the best way to tell for yourself. I have good feedback on Osneaker so far but hate the prices now. After the concords its been hell getting Js.

Damn, a alot of you got taken for fools. This is what hype breeds. Just wait until release date or near. It's not that serious.
I used to be 1 of these, before all the hype I can remember when fakes started to pop up on ebay way back in 2002, people have gotten me because I didn't know but yall just need to wait until release date to get em. Put yourself on the otherside if you had machines to over produce jay's of older molds and have the exact printer and everything that is needed to make fake shoes. The shoe game is all messed up now so yall just need to wait and gettem release date to avoid asking yourself if you bought fake or not. And that is the bottom line cuz I SAID SO!
