There was a time where 30-40-50-60-70 year old White people... had no idea what the term “cancel” meant. They didn’t know what “woke” meant.

They weaponize that now.

“Cancel culture” is also out of hand...and bastardized by people who don’t know what it is, striking back, reactionaries and ppl using it as a bad faith opportunities to have a “hypocrisy” moment for their own faults, racism and rightful cancelation. All the nuance from twitter, ig, and especially fb is gone. And you can thank big business, old people, and society in general. I remember just 10 years ago...Older people would look down on younger people for their “tweeter”. Now, they’re the most active users on these platforms...and the easiest targets for misnonformation.

I was responding to Khufu's assertion that Black people have not been ruthless to White people. I don't know how those two examples don't fit, considering that a large amount of white Zimbabweans literally fled the Mugabe regime towards NZ/AUS/UK after he started taking land away from them and Haiti basically implemented a nationwide redlining policy that prevented all non-Blacks from having assets or any kind of economic/political power right after they gained control of the island.

If you want more examples of Black ruthlessness, you could look into the campaigns of conquest of pre-colonial African empires; you could look into the notorious mercenaries in the empire of Kongo who practiced cannibalism and infanticide; you could look into the jihad campaigns of Usman Dan Fodjo. A study of that particular period of African history should let you know that the continent has never been as peaceful as it is often portrayed and that they didn't wait for the white man to start fighting over resources and prestige.

My comment was about Black people not being as ruthless as whites, in order to gain our freedom from White supremacy in america mind you.
