At the end of the day, if you depend on someone to sign your checks, you need to be smart and tread more carefully. Nick Cannon only played himself biting the hand that feeds him.

I ain't a fan of Jay, but he's put himself in a position where he is largely, though not entirely, immune from similar controversy. You don't see him out here apologizing for collaborating with Jay Electra, who definitely dropped some lines that could be interpreted as antisemitic and controversial in AWT. He certainly wasn't bent out of shape when he was challenged about the Story of OJ.

I hear you, as we've broached this topic before. He is like the Black kids who live in gated communities with other whites, then suddenly finding out that they are indeed Black.

There is a hastiness to dudes like Cannon, because they feel as if they've missed out on so much, that they need to blurt out any info on the Black state in the world, with a bit of extra anger, enthusiasm.

100% would invest. the time for this was years ago, but I think this current climate would really make this take off.

Our own news, for our communities. Media and entertainment for us. Political shows, music showcases, arts, education, actual TV shows and network movies.

it is desperately needed as we have seen these institutions are not set up for us. They not even covering the massive civil unrest still ongoing in this country anymore, went right back to rona and 45.

Nick taking this temporary L could honestly have been a blessing in disguise. Diddy wanting to bring him on board just shows the situation is understood by the ones it needs to be.

Imagine an hour long weekly show about Black gun ownership, safety, and community building. Some TLC type stuff with farming and survival tactics. Imagine the possibilities.
