Been in SoCal all my life and it's time for a career-related change. I'm moving to Vancouver, BC with my wife and kids in a few months. Any recommendations on places to live, eat, shop, or just kick it?

there is more to moving to a massive city with a family than just finding place to eat and shop fam.... i think  u need to straighten out your priorities
