All I gotta say is thank god it falls on a Saturday this year. Don't have to feel obliged to buy expensive boxed flowers to put up a charade at work.

For you dudes in LA you can go to the flower district in downtown and get a dozen long stem roses for around $20. You just got to be up early and head down there.

How early?

I've gone as early as 6 am to 8 am. The difference is just the amount of people there. The later you go you deal with less people because the flower shops picked up their shipments already but also the quality of flowers goes down but nothing crazy, the flowers still look good especially for a pretty good price.

Is it worth the drive/parking or just get some from Costco?

I prefer this route because the flowers are better and it's much cheaper than a flower shop snd Costco.
