Respectfully disagree, i really like these with the gum outsole but i admit i just like seeing anything except white or translucent outsoles on them or any hoop shoes at this point.

I think they expected the hype to hold over. They raised the price, that was a mistake. It don't think it quite performed as well as the 2s, and with so many out there for much cheaper that than 140. I think color ways we're kinda a let down on this pair. I mean, I don't think they did a "Father 2 Son" pair. I thought they "Night Vision" (I think that's the name) was the best looking, but the got was odd to me compared to the others. I personally liked the look of the shoe, just color ways and got kinda ruined it for me. I never had that feeling of "Whoa. Those are cool"

Not sure if UA outlets do phone orders but I was at one today and the 3's were $70.

Another problem with UA is that they are trying to expand into lifestyle clothing/shoes but the name by nature sort of boxes the brand in, and doesn't just roll off the tongue like "nike" or "adidas", and the logo is somewhat cumbersome and doesn't seem as aesthetically pleasing as the swoosh or 3 stripes, which are sleek and clean designs.

I was very disappointed there wasn't a F2S colors for the 3s. I only bought 1 pair of them so far and may get the Carolina Panthers color once I get the right discount. But vs the 2s, I have like 6 colors. They dropped the ball a little on the 3s. Nice shoe but didn't have the "wow" factor like the 2s did for alot of colorways.

3 years ago this would have never been said about adidas- EVERYONE was on them about always having 3 stripes on the shoe somewhere, even when it served a functional purpose. Give UA time - they have some great people and young designers doing things.
