Oh I agree there are countless factors that could lead someone to violent crime, and even good parenting in a stable environment doesn't necessarily prevent it.In an ideal world, I could agree with this. But when the odds are stacked up against MANY parents in our community it isn't that black and white. Some parents were born into situations where they honestly had little to no chance of rising out from. As I said before, it is a highly complicated situation man.

It's unfortunately not that unusual for kids in privileged situations to still get involved in serious crimes, despite proper parenting.
