If it's school, everybody hates doing it. No one's gonna care what you do, they prolly don't even pay attention, they probably just want class to end.

Can't help you if it's in the workplace and it's actually something important. Just man up and do it.

Practice. Practice. Practice.

Read through it a dozen times, practice presenting a dozen times, do it in front of a mirror, record yourself.

Speak slowly, even if you think your speed is good, slow down when you practice.

Breathe and understand most people hate public speaking and your audience wants you to do well.

Beat your meat twice before and you will be relaxed like a mob boss in the sauna

its for school.

i had a presentation early inthe semester and the teacher basically told me i was bad and had no energy so thats why im tryna improve

People DO NOT notice when you are nervous. Just go up there, be confident, and don't fidget. Good luck.

Actually, I, or anybody who can view body language, can notice when you're nervous. I feel bad for people who get so nervous that their voice cracks up so badly and they're stuttering word after word.

But OP, the audience doesn't really care about your presentation and aren't going to judge you, so don't worry about getting nervous.

I'm not a great presenter, but I do speak slowly and loudly...however, my voice is pretty monotone, but whatever. As long as I don't stutter, fidget, and whatnot, then I'm straight and my presentation grades are usually pretty decent.

look into everyones eyes and LIVE in their soul like you own the place

make them listen

you are a virus

Just think of it like this. After school you probably wont see any of these people again.
leave a lasting impression.

No one pays attention to presentations. Just think that if you mess up, no one will notice.

Or just compare yourself to the ugliest person in the room and think "at least I know I wont look as bad as him/her."

man i used to hate doing presentations in college for my first year, then i just didn't give a damb for all the reasons stated. no one cares about it, we all have to do it and i'm a grown *** man, who cares how many people see me talk?

just know it's not a big deal. you're just talking to people at the end of the day.

Thanks guys got a 100% on the presentation teacher loved it

I know you've already finished, but general advice: Don't try and memorize what you are going to say. This only makes it more likely that you'll stumble over the order of your words and get totally lost. Instead focus on actually learning about what you're presenting, so you can just go up there and talk through it like you're explaining to a friend.

Thnx thats exactly what i did

Always take a shot of Patron/Hen 20 min prior.
DRESS WELL. Makes everyone else look like peons.
REHEARSE.
Take good notes.
Throw in a joke or two.

What I used to do, practice in the mirror. Then before the presentation drop 2 shots of your favorite liquor (mine was Cognac) and that'll ease the nerves.

Do it infront of the mirror the night before a couple of times until you are confident. Then it will be  a piece of cake. Being prepared decreases your nervousness. Also try going first. Nothing will make you more nervous than going after a great presentation.

pretend everyone in the crowd is baby and you're 10x smarter than then. I think most people get nervous when they feel the people they're presenting too are superior to them in whatever way.

I have 3 presentations this week. Being a business major, I've gotten used to it. I only get nervous if I stress myself out too much. I try to talk the same way I would have a conversation with a friend except more formal.
