This proves that the NBA is not rigged!!!!!!

This is all part of the drama of the NBA. The Lakers and the Heat (more specifically kobe v lebron) are the equivalent to Marlo and Omar in the wire. The two guys running things never settle it head to head.

To further elaborate: The NBA doesn't want the "Finals to end all Finals." If we get the kobe v lebron finals every finals after that will draw worse ratings. There will be no TV specials 30 years from now about which player was truly better. It is better for the nba that the debate never gets settled in a head to head manner. It's the spinning totem at the end of inception.

I think many of you have the idea of rigged confused. In simplest terms, the League would prefer to see bigger market teams play deeper in the playoffs. They can't physically make the Lakers beat the Mavs so this really doesn't prove anything. The agenda of any corporation is to make as much $ as possible. Lakers vs. Miami/Boston would do just that. But it won't happen because the Lakers lost.

LOL came in here to say the same thing.

Let me add Wade not getting suspended for dragging down Rondo and I am not a C's fan AT ALL!

Derrick Rose did the old reggie miller play where you pump fake for three and Jamal Crawford walked into him with his hands straight up. Rose twisted after the fake and threw up a shot. The ref blew the whistle then said it was inadvertent and they jumped the ball at half court.

That was at least the final straw of an odd fourth quarter.

And now the ref admits he "blew" it. So it's ok now?
