EXACTLY! Look at Adam Morrison, JJ Redick, Jimmer Fredette. And ELITE shooter at the college level will always stand out. Period. Steph’s shooting and MENTAL fortitude was going to translate. I knew he’d be good, also.

Funny thing about the Steph criticism, he wasn’t the product of a helicopter parent. Look at Lavar Ball or Todd Marinovich’s father. Dell raised the man good. A lot of the jealousy towards Steph comes from the fact that his father was INVOLVED in his life. People who resent him because of that are idiots.

I hate that narrative. Nothing wrong with parents laying a good foundation..... and ironically, the man STILL had to work damn hard. Ridiculous

hate for curry from other players is directly from jealousy of his "meteoric" rise and the fact that he has the opportunity to be great vs. other star point guards and then has the opportunity to hide on defense...all while shimmying, hot dogging and playing it up.

i think Steph played his way out of being viewed as an underdog. remember nobody knew of him until he went on that crazy run at Davidson. Then he was viewed as an underdog but after that he put himself on the map and folks took him serious. now I'm not saying I predicted he would have this great career but it certainly hasn't surprised me after that Davidson run. than again I know some folks don't watch college ball.

whats the difference between Steph and Lonzo ball? At all levels of basketball? Amateur, college, professionally?
