I mean, can't Kyrie be both a superstar player as well as someone that is a weirdo and perhaps incapable of being the leader of a team?

He is punyIt’s a different type of hate as dacomeup said. We, and me particularly maintain Bron & Kobe as all time greats. To me, both top 10 players (although, I think prime Steph is right there with them both of you were comparing the levels they were on while at their peak)...but resumes matter in all time rankings...and they got him beat with that for what they did, and how long they did it.
But HOW Steph is hated is unique to him. And those factors are a unique set of circumstances that really only be due to his play style, upbringing, perception, historical precedents to what players on that level are supposed to look/play like, and some colorism sprinkled in there. Thats all I maintain. I understand it comes with the territory. Nobody will take away from Bron or Kobe’s accomplishments In the way they do with Steph. We will highlight their failures tho...and the need to put them up there with Mike is wild. Especially with Bron and his Media propaganda arm forcing it...and controlling the narratives .
DCAllAfrican ....start the thread bruh .

He is puny
He is regular looking
He is light skinned
He looks like a sucka
He loves Jesus
That is why the hatred for Steph is unique.
30 with a full head of hair and hairline intact. My hair got the versatility of Giannis. Taper, Sidepart, rows, undercut, manbun if I’m feelin like a thot. I’m playing 1-5 out there. Magic in the finals.

I agree, that adds to it as well. He just LOOKS like the privileged child but knowing his basketball career, that is far from the case. He had to fight to get to where he is/was. Nobody would have guessed his career would have turned out to be what it became.privileged upbringing - like that can be helped
Sociable and being a great leader are not the same things at all. Kobe wasn't sociable, and he's explained himself why he struggled socially throughout his career. I'm sure his teammates would call him a great leader though.why does not being sociable with your teammates make you a weirdo?
at steph curry ever having a better season than hardenSteph averaging 24 & 8 in 32mpg on a 67 win team NOBODY had as the #1 team going into the season was more impressive than what Harden did that year.....yes, Harden balled. But that whole “real mvp” **** was flute. And dudes were mad about it then. Created a damn “players mvp” and we have to wait until the end of the season now because Lil ole Steph curry won it .
2014-2015 Draymond isn’t the same as 2016, 2017 and even 2017 Draymond. Same with Klay then. Same with Barnes.
And regular season wise...idk if harden was “better” than Steph after 2016. But he had a different path to victory and balled out “in the regular season”. Especially 2018 and last year.
We saw what the real was, when it came to the playoffs tho. No cut cards. You know wsup.
steph curry put on some weight??Never cared for Stephanie ready but this new thick version..oooohhhhweeee ??
dacomeup beat me to the punch. Not being sociable does not mean you can't be a leader. Kyrie just doesn't really seem to be either.why does not being sociable with your teammates make you a weirdo?
the NBA just had an issue with players being addicted tl
fortnite, as well as that jimmy butler incident with Wiggins and Towns. Kyrie is just as direct and cutthroat as Jimmy. Some guys need that. Being hard on teammates or staff is definitely a form of leadership. There’s a time to joke, and a time to be serious. Kyrie toes that line well.
He grew up with a dad in the NBA, had access to all of the best training, facilities, and guidance his entire life lol. Him being underdog story is purely based on his size.I agree, that adds to it as well. He just LOOKS like the privileged child but knowing his basketball career, that is far from the case. He will always have my respect. He is playing with house money right now.
That’s.... the point. Jackie Mac and the Boston writers weren’t doing deep dives on Kyrie’s exit from Cleveland (an obviously questionable incident). Instead, they were working overtime on puff pieces about how this was a great sign because he wanted to take the next step in being a true leader. That Boston was the perfect match and his home for the future. As always they picked up Ainge’s water and spin as aggressively as he asks. And that narrative drowned out many of the very legitimate questions about what happened in Cleveland.Yea, people completely ignoring all of the stories that came out of Cleveland too. Instead its just a hit job by Jackie Mac on his way out the door in Boston. She has direct quotes from KD in the piece alluding to Kyrie being a different type of dude. Not even really sure why people are trying to cape here. We all know how good he is.
i’m saying though. give 14 year old bron access to that and dudes wouldn’t even question him being better than jordan which he is and always is.He grew up with a dad in the NBA, had access to all of the best training, facilities, and guidance his entire life lol. Him being underdog story is purely based on his size.

John Collins, certified stretch four now.
