It's a setup. At first it looked like they accidentally ran into Tonya, and she finally had wealthy people to hang out with and not worry about them wanting her money. As this episode revealed, the English guy is having money problems and needs a bail out and that kid is obviously not his nephew

So the question is, are they setting her up on their own? Or did her husband put them up to it? It is convenient that they appeared as soon as he left.

Yea, Greg could be the cowboy that the old dude was talking about and/or Greg hired the old dude to kill/scam Tanya in some way so he could get her money. The old guys and “nephew” are definitely scammers that prey on rich older women. Didn’t the old gay guy say something like “he finally has someone his age” when he mentioned his nephew and her assistant to Tanya. Either way the nephew is just someone that the gay guys keep around for pleasure and/or scamming purposes.

Also, they’re setting up Stanford kid to have a conflict with someone (he’s def gonna find out about his dad and the escort broad) and the escort is going to end up getting paid or something. She doesn’t have a pimp, she’s setting things up so she can get paid from Albie’s dad/grandfather. Also if you notice the placement of the oranges in the Soprano guy’s room, that was a symbol of death in the Godfather.
