just finished listening, and i think i like the album. not the dark, drugged out album we were all hoping for, but it's solid

(i skipped all the old singles)

acquainted (i was upset that GBIT90s didn't make it, but this is just as good )

shameless would have been so much doper with a better beat

Just had my first night ride in the car with this... MUCH BETTER. These in succession: As you are, Dark Times, Prisoner 

I am amazed at how Sheeran matched Weeknd word for word, note for note and perhaps outshined him. Amazing

I REALLY WISH LANA WASN'T ON PRISONER. She's great don't get me wrong but if the track wasn't a feature I feel like it would be a potentially classic track

There's a lighter feel to some of it but there's plenty of darkness and savage on this project. Great album top to bottom. So many different influences sonically. It gets pretty wild. I think it'll grow on a lot of the people here.

Few thoughts after first listen.

-A lot of these songs have very strong 90s Disney movie vibes
-Hope Tell Your Friends gets flipped by a capable rapper
-In the Night is my least favorite song he has ever made
-I need someone to split As You Are in half for me so I never have to sit through the first part ever again.
-Prisoner is flames, the OoOoOOs at the end are what I'm here for
-That red head Ed can get down
