crazy...not as crazy as Barca vs Real but still crazy...

United fielded a decent side but still got nothing out of the match...

It was a pathetic performance.  They deserved to lose by even more IMO.  Jonny Evans was horrible... WestHam was just throwing him around.  Just awful.
First WestHam win over Utd since '75 or something?

trunks, I dont think its a matter of Arsenal needing to learn how to win trophies. I think its a matter of Arsenal learning how to be consistent. The best way to be consistent is by bringing in players who will play well 80% of the time. Arsenal's insistence on bringing in bargain basement players has led to 5+ years of inconsistent results. There have been times in each of the last 5+ seasons where the club looked like trophy contenders but player inconsistency got the better of the club. Look at the key players on our team right now...van Persie, Arshavin, Bendtner, Walcott, Denilson, Rosicky, Diaby, Eboue, Clichy, Koscielny, Almunia, Fabianski, etc. All these guys are completely unpredictable and you never know what to expect from them. If the club was really serious about winning trophies they'd clear out some of the dead wood and spend money on players that we know will perform at high levels for most of the season.

Anyways, this week keeps on getting worse for Real. First they got absolutely demolished by Barca, then Mourinho and company get reprimanded by UEFA and now Higuain is going to be out for an estimated 2 months due to a back injury. Mourinho hasnt been a fan of Benzema so far so maybe we see Ronaldo play a bit of CF this month and then maybe Real go out and find another CF in the January window. Despite their terrible loss a few days ago they have what it takes to seriously compete for 3 trophies this season but they really need a consistent CF. For all his goals, Higuain can be extremely wasteful at times.
