The Ultimate Football Thread 2013-2014 Vol. 4 EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A etc

I know Ozil had his issues at RM (where he often was pulled out at the 70 min mark), but he needs some help up front to help him succeed. Wenger essentially bought the body of a Lambo but dropped a Civic engine in it. Ozil is still a good signing but Wenger missed his chance to add a quality striker last summer & this past January.

Also at least from the outside looking in, Wenger seems to have a problem with team chemistry as his players are arguing on the pitch after games & in practice.

I def agree, they need better striking options and i'm confident we'll add em this summer. Arsenal isn't going to make a statement buy like Ozil and keep it at JUST that. Wenger isn't a fan of the Jan xfer window and prefers to make summer moves. Ozil unfortunately doesn't have the same access to a strikeforce as he had at RM, and with Theo/Ramsey hurt he has access to even less. Remember, he's been playing in the EPL for about 6 months and is still getting acclimated. I'm confident he'll be just fine. Also, Don't let the papers mislead you about the team chemistry, its fine. The players were pumped up and vocal, I mean they were ONLY playing the best team on earth.

PSG lining up like they forgot they won the first leg. Do they not have other strikers they can try out tonight?

Sirigu, Digne, Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Jallet; Rabiot, Cabaye, Pastore; Lavezzi, Ibrahimović, Cavani.

:lol @PSK I hear you. But I just saw Masch puttin in work on Aguero...let's see if he can keep that up all game.

REALLY surprised Lescott didn't get a yellow for that...

Surely that was an intentional pull-back by Jo?  Almost always a yellow!

I haven't started watching yet, is he really playing behind Aguero tho? Sometimes managers just like to toy with the lineups. Mind games.

He never does have a problem showing up for Brazil, thats true. Brazilians gon be Brazilians :lol

Brazil play in a completely different system that is best suited for Neymar's strengths. Barca play in a system that is built around Messi and everybody has to fall in line after Messi.

Wtf is Miljer doing on the wing? Lol

Get Navas out there. This isn't a game for the English.
