Missed that AM vs Milan match. What is up with Balo? Guess he just doenst want to be in that team but I can't blame him

i wonder how crazy this first come first serve ticket sale phase is going to go tomorrow morning . im hoping to get 4 tickets . USA vs Ghana Japan vs Greece Uruguay vs Italia and USA vs Germany . originally stated 160k tickets were left now saying 340k left . so that makes the odds better . i hope the site doesnt crash .

Unless Barcelona absolutely ***** the bed which I don't see happening citeh is done. PSG should get non starters some playing time. That one is a 100% done.

I wish referees would more consistently not call touch fouls. I loves the Podulski no call. He barely nudged lahm. But later Carzola barely touched i think it was Martinez and they called a foul. And when manzukich (sp) fell on the side line when podulski was chasing him there was no foul there at all and they called it. The only way to stop the Robben's of the world is to stop calling their fouls. Hell i would have yellowed carded Robben for diving 2 times in the game....he gets hit....realizes he can't do anything else and 2 seconds later goes down. Either go down on contact or you get no call.

I feel bad for Arsenal only because no Wallcott no wilshere and no Ramsey and lazy Ozil. I don't think the series was even close. I thought Bayern out played them thoroughly in both legs. Their ability to swarm on defense after a turn over is crazy (just like barca under pep). But if arsenal were full strength i think it would have obviously been better. The only thing i take out of this is your boy Ox is going to be a monster. He was cooking out there. The only player on the field that seemed determined at times to get things accomplished and had the skill to do so. I thought Podulski played hard but at times he turned it over trying too much.

Pulling for City today and of course zlatan

If City have any balls, they'll come out running and gunning today.

If they do, I'm predicting a 3-1 score line. It's time to put up.

See jking0821 jking0821 , I think the no-call on Podulski was an egregious mistake but agree some of the other calls should not have been made.

I watched a bit of the game again after dinner last night before I deleted it off my dvr. Even at full strength, Arsenal would've lost that game. Pep didn't even field his strongest side yesterday. I almost got the impression he didn't want to blast Wenger out of the water because it looked like Bayern kinda took it easy on Arsenal.

The UK press is saying another argument ensued amongst the Gunners, this time between Rosicky and Podolski. They were caught bickering just after the match ended. Don't these guys know to wait until they get into the locker room?

Given the way Barca has played these last 2 weeks, it will be interesting to see how they play today. In the last few years (since Pep's left), it always seems they get up for the big games but don't get up for the lesser games. Especially this season.

City could be a team to over come the aggregate score but they haven't been playing well either.

At this point I think the front runners for the CL (in order beginning with the first) is Bayern, Real Madrid, & PSG. I give the edge to Bayern because their back 4 is just too good & they have the best manager of the 3. It's theirs to lose IMO.

Kimchi Papi Kimchi Papi i think in todays game 9 times out of 10 that is a foul by podulski. I think personally i just don't like seeing all of these fouls being called. By the letter of the law, was it a foul....probably yes. But if you are making it a point that you aren't going to call small pushes or shoulder to shoulder challenges...then be consistent that's all. I know as a player all i ask from a ref is either call the game tight or let us play a bit....but make it one way or the other so i can properly adjust.

It's a shame robben is so good but those dives make him unlikeable. Dude has a phenomenal touch and first step and close control....but those dives make me want to punch my tv.

But that wasn't a small push though, it was a pretty hard shove. I get what your saying & I agree. At least these refs aren't as bad as NFL refs though. :rolleyes :lol

For all the talk of him being a pretty boy or his "Commandant" like behavior on the pitch, Ronnie does a lot of charitable stuff, a lot of it that also doesn't get published I'd wager.

This one did hit the news though... Sorry if this doesn't translate well as it's from Spanish paper's AS site. Not only is he donating a signed shirt & boots, Ronnie is also paying the cost of the child's surgery too... :smokin

Christiano paid the operation of a child with cortical dysplasia

Erik Ortiz Cruz is a 10-month child affected cortical dysplasia , a brain disorder that comes to cause 30 seizures per day . The only solution is surgery to remove the abnormal part of the brain. Each test done costing 6,000 euros . And the cost of the surgical procedure that is required 60,000 Euros . Hence the people of Erik, Villaluenga de la Sagra (Toledo), has turned to raise that amount through solidarity positions, collecting tins or collection of caps.

The case has come to the attention of Christiano . A friend asked crack a t-shirt and boots intended for auction. Christiano has not hesitated to deliver that sports equipment for the family to raise more money. But also, the front has been paid to bear the full cost of the intervention to be submitted to Erik.

It is not the first time Christiano helping a sick child in Spain (in Portugal are countless cases of people they help). In 2012, he aided and, along with his agent Jorge Mendes, to bear the cost of treatment Nuhazet a canary child cancer patient . The sporting greatness is not so unless accompanied human greatness. And Cristiano again shows that it is also in solidarity Ballon.

Wonder if Neymar starts today, dude has been buns as of late.

I pretty much always believe (as if my opinion matters :lol) in playing a player even when he's mis-firing. You'll only find form on the pitch.

I guess it just depends on how bad it gets (see Welbeck, Torres) and as a manager you have to call a time after a while, but a player with as much talent and potential as Neymar should be started, even when he's down...he'll be back...

I agree with eiddyfouw eiddyfouw . Unless there is a disciplinary problem or if a player is affecting team chemistry via bad attitude, you gotta let your talented players play through rough patches. You also have to hand to opposing teams, they've set up well organised defenses to stop the Barca attack. Neymar & Messi have been able to get off shots just not as cleanly as they normally get.

Thing is, Sanchez and Pedro on the wings have worked just as well even sometimes better this season. They'd walk into any team in the EPL, so they literally have just as much quality and talent on the pitch as Neymar, they've proved it before also. Experience is important in a game like this.

I say Tata sits him out today. I would.

I don't know man, I can't call it, he just came off a confident win (yeah okay, it's not saying much as a friendly in South Africa), but he was influential in that game and was looking very sharp. I would let the man start and see if he can ride with that confidence...

He never does have a problem showing up for Brazil, thats true. Brazilians gon be Brazilians :lol

What else do you expect from the team that has the most 4th place trophies in EPL history?

IF you want to play that game, we have just as many EPL titles as Chelski (Three) and THIRTEEN overall First Division/Top Flight Titles in our History.

Baseless argument. That IS your schtick though, so I can't fault you.

PSK, Ozil is more than likely getting sat because of his inconsistency, i seriously doubt he's injured, but who even knows... Def expecting more of him, and I'm confident he will recover/improve through the end of the season and into next season...
