The Ultimate Football Thread 2013-2014 Vol. 4 EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A etc

Just got tickets to the ac milan vs olympiakos match tmr here in Toronto. Going to try to go early n see if I can meet any of the players

NYCFC with a "major signing" to be announced tomorrow. Expected to be Super/Fat Frank.
I assume he'll go kick it with Villa in Australia for a few months first.
Twitter is saying NYCFC put in a bid for Torres. Lol. Don't believe it but I've seen it. Most likely it's frank.
But I don't expect Torres to be at Chelsea much longer.

El Nino in the MLS should be like a fat family coming to golden corral to eat...

Hope Claudio Reyna does more than just grabbing names though...

City signing Torres to play for NYCFC would be doing a massive favor to Chelsea. :lol
That ain't happening.

Isn't Bojan kind of soft? I don't see how he's gonna fit into relegation battle/mid tier style prem football.

Torres to NY would be sick l, aren't they trying to bring in Xavi too?

Lol Torres' wages make that rumor impossible
You do know who owns the majority stake of NYCFC right?

Wages will not be a problem for them.
Yes I do, but his wage would be about quadruple the next highest wage in MLS (as of today.)

Michael Bradley at about 6 million to Torres at about 24 million

Not sure if posted

Love the new Bayern kits, they remind me of my beloved San Lorenzo, I might just cop one with Lewa on the back. By the way, do Premier League kits still come with felt numbers or do they only use the ****** plastic ones now? I haven't copped one since Tevez first arrived at Man City. Felt numbers >

Fair play, but I think anywhere Torres goes now (30) he's going to take a paycut, and I'm sure he's very well aware of that.

I actually think he'd be open to a move away to a slightly easier league. He'd score more, get his confidence back and be the #1 man again.

But who knows...he may suffer from Tevezism.

For those of you trying to watch some footy, San Lorenzo is playing Bolivar right now in the first leg of the Copa Libertadores semifinal. Fox Deportes is showing it, as I write this we're up 2-0.

My Mata kit from last season had felt numbers as well as the patches

Flipping around all these club friendlies...the hell camera is NBCSN using on this Liverpool/Roma game? It's awful. :lol

We won 5-0. Still have to play the second leg, but I'm confident we'll make it through to the final :lol
