Not going lie that whole game is going cause me to stick with my AD down here and what they carry that’s on my wishlist

I’ll still pop in certain places and get my name added to some shh but it ain’t the end of the world.. but I know I’ve been lucky as hell with my AD and access to rolex but they also carry Tudor, IWC, omega and Cartier

its is kind of nice to stay in one place and get to know the people working there

my old AD saleswoman moved on to a Cartier boutique a few months back so I was switched to a new saleperson and i was worried about the "history" but a week after the switch, he offered me the green OP i had on the list, it was an unfortunate timing though, my had dad passed away that same week so I had to decline the watch but i should be on the list for the next one that hits the AD

Away in Barbados for Crop Over at the moment before the flight I was able to try on some pieces..

The turquoise ingenieur was really nice in person, the dial is really special as it transitions from blue to turquoise to black at times. Very hard to capture.

Tried on the 36mm ingenieur too. Seemed like a toy watch when handling it, but looking at these pictures looks perfect on. Nice dial, similar to the 39mm OP. I appreciate the display case back.

And for the second time in a month I tried on the new seamaster 300m. There's something about the dateless configuration, with the new wave dial that makes me see past those skeleton hands. I think it's a real improvement over the previous model, a step in the right direction and possibly my next pickup.

pretty good discussion from different POV, i just cant take Eleanors view too seriously considering she grew up uber rich and around jewelry her whole life - yeah if I grew up driving a Ferrari my whole life then I wouldnt find Porsches that exceptional either


and yeah people do take it personal when you insult their rolex, they work hard to get one as sign of success or to celebrate an accomplishment then people sh*t on it... yeah a person shouldnt care what others say but we are humans and sometimes you just cant help it
