i guess if you wanted the white speedy, one of the best releases last year, theres also a moonswatch version for those who do not want to spend $8k

Any recs on a rubber strap for an aqua terra? Wanna switch from the croc skin to rubber for the summer.

I have a **** ton of random rubber straps and my favorite are probably the strap tailor (iwc pilot style) and the Delugs sail cloth rubber (looks like a cloth weave but it’s rubber).

Never been much of a watch guy—an Apple Watch gets the most burn for me due to my job. But man, after this recent gift from the wife, Pandora’s box may have been opened. :smh:

Love, love, love the polar dial and the nice contrast it always provides.

Looking for another watch to compliment my santos. Trying to build out a 3 watch collection I could eventually pass down to my kids, ideally a diver and chronograph to complete the trinity. I Have been dailying the santos for a little over a year now and love the versatility but would like something a little sportier on rubber.

Considering a Black bay monochrome on the rubber strap. Nice build nice price, like the idea of aluminum bezel to get a faded patina over time. This might be my top choice right now given price and availability but not sure if the 124060 will always be tugging at me.

Really like the no date sub, classic, but is Rolex too played out? Might be a little flashy for what I’m looking for and wish it had a stock rubber strap option. Not sure if it looks cheap on an aftermarket strap. Availability tbd tho as not willing to pay grey prices

Other option would be the new no date seamaster which looks good for the most part but not sure why more expensive with the aluminum parts? Other hesitation is that for the chrono it’s either moonwatch or daytona, likely the former so wouldn’t want to be too heavy omega.

Basically trying to decide if the extra time and $$ is worth getting the 124060? or will the BB keep me satisfied for 20 yrs then can upgrade to the sub if that itch is still there?

Get the Sub (or your top choice) if you’re not in a rush.

dont want to sound like a fanboy but rolex is probably the one brand that will never go out of style, its as classic as it gets and they dont make drastic changes on their models

if you want a sub, get a sub or you'll spend more than you should in trying to scratch that itch

and if you want to stick to the most classic 3 watch collection, the santos and sub and speedy for the chrono option doesnt get anymore perfect, its arguably the 3 signature watches for each brand
