in this day and age, i still cant believe these manufacturers thinks that if theyre gon’ make a smaller watch, its gotta appeal to women

a fifty fathoms in 38m finally with no date and they had to make it with a mop dial :smh:

Hopefully we get a new seamaster 300m fitted with this new smaller, thinner movement

That 54 is great. Hopefully they don’t do something dumb like make it limited. Looking forward to (hopefully) more bb54 colorways.

its not limited, just a matter of how hot the tiffany dials still are

we'll see if its the typical tudor hype release where its close to impossible in the first couple of months then it just sits after that or if the strength of tiffany has more legs

I love the steel bezel on that BB54 and would love one on a BB58.

I guess the BB Pro basically is that but it’s too thick for my wrists. A steel bezel 58 at <12.5mm thick is basically my perfect watch.

got to try on the new F1 too and i like it, the brushed steel case and bracelet looks good too

this blue is the only cw they had but i live how it fit, might get the white one sooner than later

Tag is doing a good job lately. Thinking a reverse panda glass box might be my next watch if I can find it used under 4k

finally a 38mm fifty fathoms but ugh at the date… your move omega, wheres that 38mm SMP?

price is kinda crazy though

$16,700 (Steel on Strap with Pin Buckle)
$18,200 (Steel on deployant)
$19,500 (Steel on bracelet)
$17,900 (Titanium on Strap with Pin Buckle)
$19,800 (Titanium on deployant)
$21,100 (Titanium on bracelet)

Those prices are a joke

I’m glad Blancpain is finally putting out a FF under 40mm, tho I think it throws the proportions off a bit. That’s a pretty large bezel for a 38mm watch.

In the <40mm category, I think the BB58 is just about perfect. The proportions are spot on, the fit is versatile, and it isn’t too thick. Now that Tudor has expanded the BB line to have a 37, 39, 41, and 43, I hope they continue to add more colors to the 39 line. The new cherry red is a good start, even if maybe not the one for me.

Any recommendations on a solid vacation watch in the 500-2k range? Can’t think of what to add that has GADA capabilities while being something I can wear without worry when traveling.

there arent really many watches $2k or under id be afraid to wear if being honest unless its some bootleg to look like something much more expensive

get a GMT for travel maybe, theres a lot of affordable options these days too, i think seiko5 released a 39mm a year or two ago for under $500 or jump to the higher tier seiko prospex for a better look and quality

tons of field watches out there too that is as gada as it gets, really liked the hamilton khaki quartz they released last year that was available in 38mm

Heard some really good reviews on the Seiko 5 GMT (SSK001). Best bang for buck GMT for under $1k. I also like the Seiko Prosprex (SRPE37). Screw down crown and Sapphire glass. Can’t go wrong with Seiko.

If you’re looking for a cheap clone of the Tudor BB58, Thorn can be had for around $200. It’s a direct copy of the Tudor BB58 but with a Seiko movement. They sell them on AliExpress.

At the edge of that range, I’d recommend the new Longines Conquest on the rubber strap.

If you want a “fun” or beach sort of vacation watch, look at a Doxa with an orange (or other bright) dial.
