I would not buy it if you haven’t tried it on. It’s huge. Somewhere around 51mm lug to lug.

AD called yesterday and finally added a 114060 back into the rotation. Such a solid piece and def regret letting it go in the past.
Now what sucks is I am debating letting the mk1 explorer go smh lol
Hi NTer's,
My Rolex Explorer 14270 from 1997 just suddenly stopped working. Even when I wind it, not even the second hand moves. I brought it to an AD and they said that due to its age, it should go for a complete revision. This would cost anywhere between 600 to maybe even 1,000 Euros. Do you think I should have this done?
TIA,
F Sharp005

Thank you Leebro and EdM. I'll bring it to the AD - it must be sent to the service centre. I'll be explicit about what they should not do, i.e. polishing. The current service turnaround time is 5 months.
so jealous... ****AD called yesterday and finally added a 114060 back into the rotation. Such a solid piece and def regret letting it go in the past.

)Got a bonus. Boom Rolex

No problem bro.
I sent mine in just before Christmas and got mine back late March but I did send it back once because they misaligned the bezel although they told me they hadn't touched it. I would suggest for your own security take some pictures of the watch before you send it off so if any mistakes are made you can refer them to the images prior to service so that they can rectify any issues without any kind of drama.
My AD gives me **** all these days, which is disappointing, considering how much I've spent with them recently (the last conversation with management went something like, "get that Lange from us, but it's very unlikely we can sell you a Patek" ). Why bother buying from them, then? Very frustrating.
A lot of guys I've talked to have grown tired of the shenanigans and are starting to lose interest. Feeling the same for a while now. On the bright side, with the market as it is, it's fortunate I can cash out and not lose money despite buying used at a stupid premium and wearing it for a while. Time to move on.
Everyone is expecting a bubble to pop. It’s not.
