more expensive. i use manheim and the prices they want for the cars are just :x. destroy the supply to artificially increase the prices. this + sandy didnt help either. gotta be worried about flooded cars and stuff.

There is no question about it... Used cars are more expensive because at least 10 years worth of future used cars that would have slowly made it to the junkyard one at a time were all mandated to be completely destroyed a matter of weeks.

Cars that were in perfect running order that would have lasted another 100k were trashed because they fit the govts description of a "clunker"
