Can be great if they're done well in a different style, but if it's a straight up cover, that **** is trash. 99% of those I'd rather hear the original or not hear them at all. Just my opinion.

One of my favorite covers in my playlist is what you just said right there.
Stand By Me by Ki:Theory. I'm not even a huge fan of the song Stand By Me, but I remember the first time I heard Ki:Theory's cover on a TV show. I was legit blown away.
Those are my favorite, when a band takes a well-known song and makes it their own.
I can see how people don't really vibe with that, though. No wrong answers.

I have never understood how someone doesn’t know how to throw. I am fortunate I grew up in a place where kids played every sport year round.
Obviously it’s not really a big deal, but when I see someone can’t throw I feel like they’re deficient

All I knew about this guy was that he was the Fanatics guy, but I looked up his Wiki and read this:
These rich ************* piss me off. Dude started a business with his birthday money and his dad co-signed a lease for a retail store when he was 13. By 16 he was $120k in debt (over $300k adjusted for inflation) and he got bailed out with a "loan" from his dad for a $37k settlement with his creditors (almost $100k adjusted for inflation) on the condition that he go to college, which he did for a semester.
I wish literally anyone in my distant family had a penny to their name or a speck of advice or influence on me when I was a kid. ************* barely acknowledged my existence. Must be nice.

It's something I apparently take for granted. Sports was the only thing to do growing up.
When celebrities throw out the first pitch, I'm baffled at the absolute struggle to throw a ball 60 feet.

I’m obsessed with this Cranberrries “Linger” cover. Still keeps it respectfully close to the OG but really makes it their own.
