I’d definitely recognize other places. It’s not even worth it anymore.Man that is ridiculous. I might have to do Craigslist, OfferUp ...etc.
What can I say ? I never listened to a rapper because he was or wasn't hip hop but because I liked his music, I'm not a fan of political rap especially when there are not a lot of skills, and I'm not a fan either of autotune / leveling down we had since Trap arrived.I never said KRS wasn't Hip Hop. I said UZI is more Hip Hop than him, and it's true. He raps, he dances, I've seen him do graffiti, his face looks a graffiti wall. Once he dj's he'll have mastered the 4 elements. KRS salty self been complaining about Hip Hop since the damn 80's, but then he makes **** like ''13 and Good'' in 1st person.

Not talking about all rappers, because I don't know them all, but for me hip hop is about skills, flow, lyrics, delivery. Rappers I like it would be impossible to me to rap like them. That's what make them great, their level are unreachable.
Perfect example for me is Busta Rhymes, not a single life would permit to be competitive with him. But if we're talking about Trap it's different, if it's more about mood like soundcloud rappers, no really need for skills, it's more about the atmosphere, maybe it's more an artist thing, but I can't see hip hop. Hip hop is performance like basketball (even if I know nothing about basketball ). Hip hop is what makes both neophytes and connoisseurs impressed. In my opinion that's where best rappers are : staying accessible not impoverishing their content. I talk about him a lot of times but typically Twisted Insane is impressive to me, especially as english is not my mother tongue, because he both deliveries with a very fast flow and articulating A LOT his lyrics, that's very pleasant to hear when english is not your language. Percee P, Busta, him are examples of people I admire because I would never be able to rap like this. In french rappers if we're not talking about what lyrics mean but only about the form I'm impressed by Alkpote for both flow and multisyllabic, alliterations, assonances, it's like poetry and when I wrote lyrics I was in that type of things, sound of words before the message implying automatic writing sometimes, then you re work it, you cut, you add. Sound of words guiding you also means you never know what you would write which is exciting for you, and, if it becomes a rap, to listeners. While very scholastic rappers are boring to listen to because you might already know where they going to. Rythm and POETRY. Where's the poetry nowadays ?
It's personal but what I like about hip hop is technique, I know sometimes you just want to feel but when it happens I listen to other music, because hip hop is the music that puts the most efforts in lyrics, a pop song is super speed to write in comparison, some rappers that don't have success sometimes write for singers, because once you're able to write a hip hop song it's quite easy, you just have to simplify the whole thing. Hip hop is a music that could make people think, and it's more easy to listen to music or to watch movies than to read books. That doesn't mean it as to be one way or another, but according who we are we could be more pleased with this or that. I don't like to read books because I couldn't stay focused for a long time. So if a song of 3.30 makes me think, I'm happy with it. Someone that already reads a lot might not need a song to make him think about this or that. In my opinion hip hop is the epitome of a lot of other genres. Jazz, classic, funk, soul etc. I love samples because it's creating something new with old. It also needs to be curious and to listen to amounts of albums to find what to loop. Samples could make you enjoy the song by itself then the OG. And because some originals are old or of long formats, you might missed them without hip hop songs. Hip hop made me discover a lot of oldies. I could even prefer samples to OGs or be curious if I know 3 artists used the same song as a sample, about how each one created with it. I have nothing for or against Kanye in general BUT he was great as a producer, his samples were gold, Get By of Talib Kweli for example or Couldn't Get So Far of The GameYou dont need lyrical godlike track everytime. Sometimes you just wanna bump something catchy.
That’s all she had to say from the jump. Trying to be “public private” ain’t it. I actually better understanding where’s she’s coming from. Idk why she thought it was a better idea to make it an issue about pressure when it was a physical condition whole time. Why would you leave that door open? Sometimes it’s best to either say everything or nothing at all. Don’t half-step. Hope she gets over it. It’s interesting tho. I wonder if a lifetime of spinning and flipping has thrown off her equilibrium?Damn, that dude for the USA BMX team really hit the floor hard. He didn’t even have time to put his hands up Hope he’s okay.
Edit: Seen footage of Miss Biles doing some practice on the uneven bars, she can’t land at all. Kinda glad she chose to pass on the event if she’s having that much trouble. Don’t want to see her get hurt.
kinda weird. can't believe when I first saw here in "the horse whisperer" then she turned into thisScarlett has a beautiful mouth/nose region for a white woman.
you meant thisI've never seen this. There's this movie featuring Natalie Portman wearing a similar wig that I've been meaning to watch for about 3 or 4yrs. Is this any good? I've only seen one of her movie I didn't care for, it was the dumb pseudoscience one about humans only using 10% of our brains. Yeah it was dumb, but if you push the story in the back of your head some it was an enjoyable movie. The evolution & fight scenes were cool.
she might have thought that she would get an easy pass using the "mental health card" which is popularly misused nowadays. either way, whatever excuse she makes, people are just hard to please. That’s all she had to say from the jump. Speaking of no rest.I revisit this convo every now and then. I honestly was about to post it for walkingBred when he was discussing his struggles with resting his body.
I've always wondered if there was a disconnect between what we feel is enough/too much/too little and what our body actually feels is sufficient.
I feel walkingBred 's struggle at times. If I miss a day or two, I'm calculating in my head some illogical increase in body fat % that I have obtained during those off days. I think that's why I try to focus so much on nutrition and what I'm consuming.
It's a mental struggle for some.
Speaking of no rest.
Where do you find the time to workout when you post every 10-20min on NT? Legit asking.
I cum in peace.
Oh. Sure you do.I workout around 5:45 Am each Morning. Before the Sun is on full blast. Or later in the day after it has gone down.
Enough about me though.Oh. Sure
Enough about me though.
If you are on the bike today, you know where to go.
