my gfs work has let her work from home since last March. For the last 6 months they’ve let people continue this if they want, or come into the office. Their choice. She chose to stay home because her mom is going through chemo treatments right now, so not only is moms extremely immune compromised, but it’s also easier for my gf to go help her mom in an emergency. So it was a no brainer.

last week she went into the office to pick up some mail, and mentioned to the HR lady that we’re going to Jamaica on vacation next week. This lady tells my gf “well if you can leave the country, you can come back to work. When you get back from vacation, you’re expected to work from the office again.”

like okay?? It was always the employees choice, unless they want to use their vacation on something other than sitting in the house for a week? The works logic is pissing me off and now my GF doesn’t want to go to Jamaica because she’d rather be there for her mom.

other thing that pisses me off is the office is much more at risk than anywhere else. There’s NO mask mandate. There’s NO vaccine mandate. NO social distancing guidelines. Folks just going back to being crammed indoors like it’s all back to normal. I might just call the local news and see if they can run a story on this, featuring my gfs company.

I understand Elise's point of view regarding being bare breasted and I agree to a point that it is indeed a cultural difference. but since majority of modern societies nowadays follow a certain custom, it is less acceptable to be bare breasted in public for women. we aren't exactly living in primitive societies nor we are still in the hippies era. I mean , if you do that in public, you would get yourself in trouble from both authorities and perverts. even wearing braless can be sexually suggestive. for women, being bare like that is an invitation and I guess it is also true for topless men. I know as men, we get more liberty or accepted in society to be bare topless as something as a normal occurrence but for women it's totally different.

even if I'm wearing shirts, I somehow have the feeling that some women are staring right thru my shirt over my protruding pecs and erect nipples. yes, women do love men's chests, especially the puffy ones.

I never played MK (I grew up with Street Fighter and Tekken), but I have seen the fatalities for the last three games. MK11's fatalities are so ridiculous that I cannot take them seriously at all. They are almost too creative. I think MK9 and MKX's fatalities are a bit more realistic, which is far more disturbing to me. For instance, that Johnny Cage "Little Improv" fatality could easily be done in real-life.

A lot of video game and anime violence/gore does bother me much unless it looks incredibly realistic. This is why there are certain films that I will never watch e.g., A Serbian Film, Irreversible, Human Centipede, etc. I saw that one scene from Irreversible years ago and...uhhh....nah, not for me. I turned it off after a few seconds.

I avoided watching the Serbian film because of it's synopsis. Human Centipede is just ridiculously disgusting. if Irreversible is somewhat close to those 2 other films, I wouldn't watch it either. I watched Hostel back in the day and for the life of me, it's practically one of those rare films that I was able to tolerate to watch although I didn't watch any of the sequels after.

Last time I played to a Mortal Kombat (not talking about some Mortal Kombat solo weird game on emulator like a ###### platforms game) was MK3 on SNES as a kid, it was impossible to press START button, at least there was no pause, which was a problem because I had to contain my urge to go to the toilets because of this, I still remember how I felt better when I finally came in

Fighting games are too hard for me, it needs too much skills

MK3 was also the last MK game that I played competitively. after that, I transitioned to RTS, RPG, strategy and FPS gaming.

there are some of them that are really beautiful. some can be plus size, some slim, and some have really great V.S. the one to look out for are the mixed persian/indian kind, atleast for me. initially, there weren't exactly my type due to cultural preference and indifference. over time, I've learned to appreciate them more.
