They sent us home during the initial scare on March. Then business got slow so they furloughed most of us into alternating work weeks. Then business picked back up so that was cancelled. Then about 2 weeks after that they was like "ay MAQ...technically speaking you worked in the watehouse and the warehouse never shut down...so we'll see you on monday", while the 1 person who shares my position but worked at a different location is still working from home how ever many months later.

Feel like the writing is on the wall. State has lifted pretty much all gathering restrictions. At the end of the day I'll be wherever I'm required to be. Just don't tell me any BS about I need to be in the office to get my work done. The last 1.5 years has proven otherwise. Plus I work solo and don't need to interact face-to-face with any of my office mates. Is there value in being in the same physical location? Sure, but I don't need it to do the job I was hired to do.

I think the 1st & 2nd one had a tiny little bit of realism. Like jacking the semitruck of dvd's, illegal street races, working undercover to bust kingpins- that can all happen in real life imo. Since the 6th one it's gotten beyond ridiculousRealism left?!?

Another way to argue would be to mention cancer affect zones which are not supposed to be visible : organs, so at the interior of the body, cervix, prostate...and then breasts.

I couldn't talk for Elise as I dont know her, but still. I don't think it's especially needed to show breasts or torso. Clothes are good to me
And from a macho point of view, even if I'm not a macho, there is no interest as a man to see woman's breasts if they don't exist...
And that's never women with beautiful ones who want to show them so...

I know this kind of state of mind, quite feminist+intellectual+white woman, I specify white woman because I never met others thinking like this but that must existsI was talking to Amy earlier about that coworker who had that nude photo in her IG story. For reference, the coworker’s name is Elise.
Apparently Elise already got banned on IG once before due to nudity but she claims it’s discrimination. Amy then said Elise once argued with her for over an hour that “breasts are not naturally sexual and should be treated the same as men's chests."
According to Elise, the only reason female breasts are viewed as sexual/arousing is "due to cultural influence."
So that's the story of why that coworker freely posts nudes on IG without any damns given. I swear I have the weirdest colleagues.
Then of course in typical Amy fashion, the conversation went off the rails in discussing our opinion on Elise's view.
Me:
"But stimulation of the breasts gives sexual pleasure?"

"Good point, hadn't even thought of that

I never played MK (I grew up with Street Fighter and Tekken), but I have seen the fatalities for the last three games. MK11's fatalities are so ridiculous that I cannot take them seriously at all. They are almost too creative. I think MK9 and MKX's fatalities are a bit more realistic, which is far more disturbing to me. For instance, that Johnny Cage "Little Improv" fatality could easily be done in real-life.
A lot of video game and anime violence/gore does not bother me much unless it looks incredibly realistic. This is why there are certain films that I will never watch e.g., A Serbian Film, Irreversible, Human Centipede, etc. I saw that one scene from Irreversible years ago and...uhhh....nah, not for me. I turned it off after a few seconds.

Last time I played to a Mortal Kombat (not talking about some Mortal Kombat solo weird game on emulator like a ###### platforms game) was MK3 on SNES as a kid, it was impossible to press START button, at least there was no pause, which was a problem because I had to contain my urge to go to the toilets because of this, I still remember how I felt better when I finally came in
