I see. in that case, I don't think a higher spec laptop is necessary. although if given the choice and with your budget, I would select either a Ryzen 2nd gen or Ryzen 3rd gen cpu, with 16gb of ram(if possible) and with an ips screen with a higher refresh rate. nothing too crazy but maximizing your budget would enable you to future-proof your purchase longer rather than upgrading. imo, that should give you atleast 4 years unless developers go insane.
