the thread about nothing...

At a certain point it does bleed over to girls. Especially if dudes start talking about how fresh a guy is.

It’s funny because I didn’t care how I dressed once I started college, lol. My sister noticed it right away.
In high school it was mainly competition against other “sneakerheads”, clothes began once college started as well

but there’s always a friendly competition with other males for da ladies attention, at least thats what me and my friends felt growing up

In high school it was funny seeing all the wanna be frat dudes wearing sperrys, dress shirts, and chubbies then in college absolutely no one dressed like that.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money on shoes/clothes once you get to college. Trust me, I bagged more girls in my regular old stuff. No joke it hit me after I was with this baddie going “damn, she liked me even though I was wearing these joints and some faded black jeans?!?!” From that point on I knew this phase had different rules.

All good man, see for yourself and what works for you :emoji_thumbsup:
I used to be in a bodybuilding phase for a good three to four years following my undergraduate studies. I didnt get massive but i did put on some size and i ******* hated it because all my dope clothes wouldnt fit anymore so i settled for very basic outfits which i did not like because it didnt suit my personality. Now im much more happy being skinny because i like how clothes fit on me

Don't have to focus as much on actual brands as you do fit and overall neatness to be honest. High school was a damn fashion show though, it's even better when your close friends are fresh as hell as well, hitting the cafeteria feeling like the ******* super friends

EDIT: Sketches is the exception though, know a bunch of women who that ****

Ahh I see. You’re doing exactly what’s right and that is feeling comfortable with yourself. With that should come absolute confidence and freedom. Salute!

as long as the energy and personality matches the attire then you're good brobro.
sometimes the most well (expensively) dressed people i come across have the strangest vibes.
I’ve seen one NTer who constantly bragged about bespoke suits. Strange vibes is correct

I always dress to kill especially for the ladies. although I'd still get some even if I was wearing tank tops. I remember me and my home boys competing on who's going to get girls back in college and who's going to get left behind. fun times.
