Never knew that.
Who was there when you were there?
Will Blalock and Curt Stinson?
yep. I didn’t get along with Stinson at all. We had Mike Taylor that played for the Clippers too

Ehh, broad generalizations usually dont hold much weight.Generation X is neglected generation & they act like it. Very immature group.
I remember instances like after playing basketball in the evening or after work (late shift) or done something that got me all sweaty (gym work) and went to bed immediately without having a shower that got me into situations where I get woken up with someone already on top of me. I guess the fresh thing has got to do where you are still perspiring.Well the other 3 in the conversation were all women and all seemed to agree it was true, but only regarding fresh male sweat.
I don't remember the exact specifics but they said it had to do with a specific male hormone.
My parents & the ppl they grew up around were victims of it. Even pay attention to a very large amount of celebrities of that generation today. They are childish as hell. I get why. I'm just observing.Ehh, broad generalizations usually dont hold much weight.
Plus, it ain't like boomers show a ton of maturity. Nor do gen z'ers/millenials though they have the built in excuse of youth.
That said, wouldnt gen x be like 1st gen latch key kids? Maybe 2nd gen...maybe. perhaps you are on to something with this neglect theory.
Time periods makes certain traits specific.Very few people are actually mature in general. It’s a bunch of old *** bad *** kids running around.
Victims? That's a strong word for something so innocent. My parents & the ppl they grew up around were victims of it.
define neglect. because surely I got neglected a few times when I was young but I don't think it has to do with generation differences but rather sub-standard parenting. as far as maturity is concerned, I believe it is more on the individual although parenting also plays a crucial role. I'm just thinking like why do I find that most younger adults or kids nowadays feel self-entitled. then I see how the present society is somehow giving ideas to kids + bad parenting. I have seen friends that practically do everything for their kids and practically told myself that I wouldn't tolerate such things for my own kids.Ehh, broad generalizations usually dont hold much weight.

I guess I'm speaking from an inner city perspective. Heroin epidemic, Crack epidemic, AIDS epidemic, extensive neglect & emotional abuse from said neglect, computer etc.Victims? That's a strong word for something so innocent.
I grew up in chicago so I get it. And I too was a latch key kid by about 10. Actually earlier cuz my sister was the key carrier when for us when I was like 7. Admittedly? I was probably afraid enough of my mother to not delve into that stuff. Also had other non parental influences that helped prevent it. But I was a porch kid. Better not step foot off it. Wanna play? Play in this fenced in yard I work my *** off to pay for. My mom ain't play. That can backfire too though.I guess I'm speaking from an inner city perspective. Heroin epidemic, Crack epidemic, AIDS epidemic, extensive neglect & emotional abuse from said neglect, computer etc.
Socially, I think a lot of millennials raised by gen x reaped the benefits of parents trauma. Look at our independence, our unity, activism, and how we've embraced individuality as a generation. Our money is funny, but that's b/c of boomers. Gen X is understandably immature & angsty.
Odd timing. Sure it's really dead? On another thought, adopt! If you can.Bought another puppy , was going to fly down and pick her up from orlando in 2 weeks …. Owner just texted me that she choked on a piece of a mat and she died..
Had a coworker retire last year. Every time he had any new interaction with me, he'd go "wassup maaaannnn". Really long exaggerated an on the word man.
I could never tell if that's just how he talked or if he did that to me cuz I always smelled like weed. I'll never know.
