Just passed the admission test to start a coding education :pimp: I'll still be on a waiting list for a few months before I can start though.
English 100%
French 95%
Math 86%
Advanced math 91%
Hardware 91%
Programming logic 77%

Had to take a second test after failing the first test due to only getting 62% on programming logic, which required a 70% minimum to pass. This time I made sure to use my notepad a lot during the 2 hour test, whereas I barely used it at all during the first test.
My stubborn avoidance of using notepads is definitely a bad habit I need to get rid of.

Built a rep for myself that i hate
Since everyone in the fam knows i love shoes. I tend to buy shoes for other people in the family when i see a pair i like. Got mom some Pegasus and some pure boosts last year for Xmas and bday. She hits me up this year...i was really hoping you would get me another pair of shoes this year.

Got my sister a pair of silver bullet am97s last year....she sends me a wish list this year "Nike shoes"...thats all thats on it

Guess im the "shoe guy". I caved this morning and got my mom and sister kicks...I already bought my wife a pair...but she hates that i buy her shoes. But if it were up to here she would be in berkenstocks or doc martens all day every day.

Once you draft your team, completely set your lineup in advance. You have to set your lineup every single night so you don’t wanna forget to leave someone in that isn’t playing. I only did fantasy basketball once and won my league, but I remember it being more difficult than fantasy football. Also keep in mind FG% counts

if it's a cash league and people know it's your rookie season, folks finna come at you with the most insulting trade proposals. the degenerates will offer you some **** like dwight howard + marc gasol for kawhi in the year 2020.

but i love fantasy basketball. in your draft try to grab at least 3 solid PF/C who aren't terrible FT shooters (and if they are, hopefully they don't live at the line). considering most 9 category leagues count FG%, rebounds, blocks, and turnovers, big men usually help you in those stats; that's almost half the categories. also, i like getting players who have multiple position designations like PF/C, SG/PG, SF/SF... the holy grail is a cat like Luka who was PG/SG/SF at one point last year.

btw what kind of draft it is? auction or snake? if it's auction, don't be afraid to spend big on your first pick. i've noticed that folks are tentative at first and try to save their money while they see how the market is set. but then people start panicking once they they see elite players get taken off the board and then end up over bidding. for example, in my last draft, AD went for $82 after being nominated first... but by the 10th or 11th pick, some people got nervous and entered bidding wars for 2nd round players. Dame ended up costing someone >$95. i love dame but he aint as valuable as AD in terms of fantasy

thanks guys, yeah it's a standard snake draft. ill post my team after the draft this sunday.

I’m definitely going to get on the patch this week so I can quit using tobacco products for the new year. It’s time.

Does anyone have experience quitting that nasty habit?
I smoked hookah pretty much everyday from July 2009 to early 2020. Quit it this past Jan.15th & haven't looked back. Not good for health or our wallets. Went cold turkey & haven't looked back since. It was a mix of wanting to quit the addiction/being sick & tired of it & to make healthier choices. Good luck on your journey to quit. Take it one day at a time. One day turns into 2 turns into 3 turns into a week into a month then 6 months+. Keep your mind & body busy, workout if thats an option, find a hobby. You will come out a happier & healthier person on the other side. Hit me up for any questions/comments

I quit smoking cold turkey when Covid hit. Back in March I saw a video of a young woman with Covid struggling to breath in the hospital. This was when fear was at its peak after the NBA shut down. Scared the crap outta me. Haven't looked back since. I was smoking for 20 years b4 that day. Silver lining I guess. Haven't had a drink since either. Lost a lot of weight and run a 5k every day now. Running had been my replacement drug I guess.

Same here.

Used to smoke Djarum.

Quit cold turkey when COVID hit and I saw images of people fighting to breathe.

Then the reports came out about smokers being at super high risk.

Havent bought a pack since.

Still will smoke one with brothers / family for holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas but that's it.

Funny thing is my body don't even respond the same. Definitely lets me know to put it down...like instantly. Oh? You wanna smoke huh? Chest tight, wheezing, coughing, spitting mucus. Not sexy at all. Plus the smell of the smoke bothers me now. Strange. Only been 9 months and I can tell the difference. 5 flights of stairs like butter now.

Damned if I let a chemical have that kind of power over me.

Same. The smell of smoke is horrible to me now. Also don't like it cause if I smell it means im too close to someone blowing it out.
