Question for tesla owners in CA. I'm just doing research on a model 3 to see where it compares to my monthly payment now + gas. If i put a down payment of $5K, it says I will get a CA rebate of $2500. But on the tesla site it says as of march 2016 CA's rebate is based on income. How much have yall been getting back in CA rebates. Also, has the fed tax credit helped you in anyway with getting money back?

I think I was the first NTer to get get a Tesla back in 2013 but at that time I did save quite a bit money.

I had a Model S. If the interior of that is cheap I'd imagine anything less like the 3 and Y are going to be even cheaper. Just cop a Mercedes S-Class instead of trying to save money on a Tesla. That's what I did and I haven't looked back since.

If the technology is as advanced as they are making it out to be, Tesla's seem like a great investment especially as they become a competitor to Uber.

I bought the Model 3 for my wife and now I really regret not buying the Model S for myself. After seeing how the Model 3 works, I really can't see myself buying any other car except a Tesla. My gas guzzling Lexus feels like a dinosaur now.
