For Kirk's quests, do we have to buy the golden calf idol in order to move on his storyline?
I'd rather not pay donuts for it. There has to be another way right?

I think there were two quests with it, but I don't think you'll need it for the whole storyline. There were a couple pauses in the storyline before he goes to the unemployment office, so you should be good. IMO, the storyline w/ Lisa & the turkeys is better. Even the casino seems like a waste if you don't have a lot of donuts since it's only a couple days.

Thanks. Yeah for some reason when I clicked Kirk today in the quest log it prompt the inventory box and it was in the inventory box. Before it was prompting me to buy it from the special item list.
Gill doesn't do anything, he just tells you about special deals you can buy with donuts.

Was the Mayflower supposed to have any tasks during Thanksgiving? When I bought it I could have sworn it said there was an extra bonus for all tasks assigned to it. Hopefully the Sub isn't the same after dropping another 50 donuts on it.

Lol, I am lvl 35' with 4 donuts. Smh, I have everything the game will allow, minus anything that has too do with donuts. And it pisses me off. Cuz I ain't payin for shieeeeet. I love this game I could see it getting boring In a few months, I'm happy I started this n got to experience the haloween update, and soon Xmas. I can't believe a g like me spent so much time on this game
