Absolutely on both counts. The Noid game was surprisingly good and not the typical cash grab mascot theme game.

Like for instance, this is the type of stuff we had been used to. Of course we played street fighter and stuff but most of the time we were gaming at home and it was just action/adventure stuff.
Bruce Lee on the Commodore 64 is one of my all time favorite games. I think I only beat it once but most of the time we would watch my friend play it for like hours (it was his C64).

I finished this on the NES. Think it was a LJN or Acclaim title. Definitely neutered the violence and the graphics couldn’t compare.
Not sure if this predates Pit Fighter but Midway was definitely leading the industry with the digitized graphics.
