Sega goofed even before the Saturn came out. Then the price, difficult hardware, and no sonic game smh.

Still had some dope games though

Don't throw them away! You can get them looking brand new, check a rental spot or dvd seller who has a dvd/cd resurfacing machine. They usually charge $3 a disc.

Or you can go on ebay and buy a JFJ pro machine and do it yourself. Should be some YouTube vids of the process as well.

Fired up Tomb Raider II for the first time on my "new" PS2 slim last night... those PS1 graphics had me like

Those console wars were great back then. I had an SNES myself but always liked the Genesis and had some great times playing Sonic 2 and Street Fighter 2 on it at a friends place.

SNES lost a battle when Mortal Kombat was released without blood, but won the war when MKII came out.

I had both a Genesis and a Super NES at some point. 

The SNES had the better ports of video games except for Battletoads and Double Dragon.

The real question is Aladdin on Snes or Genesis. I played both the Snes version was too easy, but it more more fun than the Genesis version. Disney had some hard games during that Era that Lion King games on Snes was brutal.
