The only Dirk Nowitzki stopper in the history of NBA

Noah would be their best bet IMO.

The GSW scheme on Dirk was one of the most effective shutdowns of a superstar player that I've EVER seen.  Jack on his own had a lot to do with it, but you can't say it was all him. That'd be like saying GSW's shutdown of Yao that year was all Harrington

At this point in his career, I don't think he can be shutdown in the same sense as he was vs Jack (and Bowen too)

hmm.. at this point, it would take 90s pippen or rodman to stop him.

lebron probably is the heat's best shot, but i think even he would get spin moved and dunked on.

Dude there are no Dirk Nowitski stoppers, they don't exist anymore, just contest the shots and hope he has a bad shooting night.
Basically... The man is 7 feet tall and can fade away contorting his body like hes backpedaling on a unicycle and still make shots.

It wasn't fair. T-mac had one eye on Dirk, and the other eye looking into the future, watching his next move.

I don't remember, but why did Scot Padgett start in front of Bowen in the middle of the series again?

Bruh, I forget too.  Looking back at the past box scores, why did JVG do that..

But then again, looking at the box scores, I suppose to get another scorer in the starting lineup.

That whole team minus Yao + T-Mac...

I don't think Sura played another meaningful minute after that series and ended up retiring
