On paper the specs are a lot better for the PS5 compared to the series S.
x2.5 on GPU alone not to talk about the other specs.

PS5 DE is better value for money.

I say PS5 if you have a 20 series card already.
Anything older then it's up to you

might be the move, 2070 super still going strong.

The DE versions of both consoles will go quick, especially the PS5. I been team digital for years so sign me up. Will pick up a $299 xbox since all my boys play FPS's on there.

None of Sony's exclusives are online multiplayer. Not everyone cares about playing Sony's exclusives. It's that simple.
Literally all my friends are on Xbox Live, Series X is gonna be my primary machine and I'll use the PS5 just for the exclusives.

That's how it's been for me as well for a while. Story/single player games on PS and multi-player ones on Xbox. The online/party system is much better to me.

Hate next gens obsession with ray traced reflections. It's extremely expensive and not that serious to me at all

Makes sense, even if everybody that owns a ps4 wanted to grab a PS5 by the time those release they wouldnt be able to. Cant just leave 100 million potential sales behind and end up with a potential 4 mill.

Horizon Forbidden West?

Yep

Additionally, we know that the PS4 community will transition to PS5 at different times, and we’re happy to announce PS4 versions of some of our exclusives. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sackboy A Big Adventure, and Horizon Forbidden West will also launch on PS4. While these three games were designed to take advantage of PS5 and its unique next-gen features like the ultra-high-speed SSD and DualSense controller, PS4 owners will also be able to enjoy these experiences when they launch. The PS4 digital versions of launch games include a free upgrade on both PS5 consoles, while the PS4 disc versions of these games include a free upgrade on the PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc drive.
