The season after the Super Bowl when 90% of the secondary was injured late in the season, Schwartz "simplified" the defense for the practice squad dudes and they did decent enough to make the playoffs and even win a game against Chicago.


He simplified the defense second half of today's game by just letting the front 4 do their thing and they looked much better. So why not simplify the defense so guys like K'Von, who are superior athletes to Gerry's bum ***, can get out on the field and try to keep up with the opponents offense.

not making excuses because like I said, they'd still probably play like garbage. But to be down that many contributors by Week 3 is sickening
