THE OLD PHILADELPHIA EAGLES THREAD

You can only go so long without hitting in the draft. It finally caught up to us. Surprised it Tom us this long.

You really really really need great production on roomie contracts. Especially for position players

Good drafting will have any team do a huge turn around .

and being aggressive. They went all in on Diggs knowing he was gonna be worth the high asking price and he was the best decision they made in the offseason. We've never made a huge trade for a WR since T.O and that turned into a SB run. I'd be totally fine with a trade like a 1st and 2nd round pick for D Hop or some **** but Howie hoards high picks then does nothing with them.

In essentially every game, Hurts comes out hot then loses steam late. Wentz was the opposite. Came out unable to complete any passes then would start putting drives together late. So we should just play Hurts first half then put Wentz in after halftime. Like how in baseball you have a starter and a reliever lol

This is the kind of idea traditionalists would scoff at but watch somebody actually pull that off and it's the biggest game changer since the forward pass:lol

Today is the fifth anniversary of Chip Kelly getting fired.

He don’t get enough credit for role he played in us finally winning a super bowl

Obviously deserved to be fired.. but he gets zero credit, when he at least deserves a mention in a few things he did

Also we might have to look at aspects of stuff he did while having at least a bit of people skills

The same way we don’t win the SB without Carson setting us up, we don’t even make the SB without Chip laying the groundwork

Chip made a lot of terrible decisions in and out of games but dudes training and conditioning system kept dudes healthier than we've ever had since then. We rarely had injuries to key players when he was in charge of conditioning and since then the entire roster gets hurt weekly.

Yup.. the fallout of his pace all the time was obvious on the defense

But with regard to what you said, he was on with that

Also other little things.. like having character guys, but can’t just be choir boys.. just need more balance with the ideas and practical application

If Daboll comes here I need him to bring the Josh Allen offseason regimen deluxe edition with him.

McDaniels is a bum. Frank is obviously off the table for the foreseeable future because he's killing it with the Colts. So if we go offensive coordinator I want a young guy with fresh and innovative plays. I'd want a guy like McDermott from Buffalo. Don't bring in someone who's had mild success elsewhere and expect him to blow the lid off here.

Not to tuned in this yr who are the top 3 wrs in da draft class nfl comps?

Ja’marr is like a more physical OBJ (I’ve also seen devante adams thrown out)

Waddle, need to think on this.. thinking like Torry holt

Devonta smith, is like a certain someone who played for the colts

Saw part of Jalen Hurts talking to the media today and he said Sunday's game is about ending the season with pride and passion. If these idiots win Sunday to lose some spots in the draft they're gonna piss so many people off.
