THE OLD PHILADELPHIA EAGLES THREAD

Dude constantly plays through injury to come off like a warrior and as much as I respect it, he needs to chill when he's not healthy. When you're in your prime, you can play hurt in huge games. But when you're way past your prime, you shouldn't play hurt when you can barely compete at 100%

This organization has failed Carson. That 2017-18 year might’ve come too soon and he made such a huge leap forward, seems like they took the foot off the gas and figured Carson was just going to work himself out. It’s a damn shame what has transpired in the last couple of years

well it's admirable to be loyal to guys.. we took the wrong things away from the super bowl

instead of moving on from certain guys, we just kept them around.. and then even when we should have realized mistakes (mike wallace) we just doubled down on mistakes (desean)

we got lucky with alshon.. and for some reason that went into us taking JJAW, who i thought was a glorified TE anyways and we shoulda learn from the whole jmatt thing and overlapping with ertz and not bringing something else to the table

also we had chances to move guys, but didnt even though we should have been prepared to move on (foles and agholor)

when’s the last time we’ve even beat Seattle? They’ve owned us for nearly the entire last decade lol

Cant wait to see if louis riddick tries to audition for howie‘s job tonight

April 2020: "Lmao eagles drafted Hurts when they have Carson Wentz "

November 2020: "Jalen Hurts may takeover for Wentz if he struggles on MNF"

crazy this franchise and coaching staff has done such a poor job developing Carson and the roster that we're in this position.

They basically handcuffed him and told him to figure it out on his own.

Just look at 2018; told him to stay in the pocket to protect himself and figure out how to do it on his own. Then when Foles came back in they decided it was time to coach again

2019 was more of the same and his mechanics started to regress. Now we in 2020 and it’s still the same message “you’re a #2 pick, you can figure out how to do this without us making it easier”. His mechanics have gone to **** and he’s playing hero ball half the time just to make things happen.

Lurie has failed Carson, Howie definitely failed Carson (JJAW) and Doug has failed Carson.

What we drinking tonight because Seattle always owns us. And being on MNF just means Russ about to have another couple of crazy plays added to his highlight real:smh:

First possession was a bad throw and two dropped easily catchable passes. Not all Wentz’s fault but damn, this is gonna be a long night.

Might just watch some wrestling for the first time in years because it’s that bad:lol:

Even his body language for his photo says defeated:lol
