It's an amazing run for Zhang since she's never been past the first round at a Slam. Now she has a pretty good shot of reaching the semis. I hope this changes her mind about retirement.
I'm really not confident about Nole's chances against Kei given his play lately... If he loses, I really think Raonic is winning the title here. It's going to be hard trying to stop a tall guy who's playing this well at the net.

That's the part that pisses me off. The media so desperately wants to create a rivalry when there is none. What rivalry in any other sport can you remember that is this lopsided yet people still call it a rivalry? I get sick of these articles about why this time is the time Maria breaks the streak everytime they play. The media just isn't honest about Maria and her ability when it comes to Serena. It isn't a mental hurdle, it isn't her shoulder, and she isn't one adjustment away. Styles make fights and Serena is a vastly superior tennis player to Maria in every category. She hits the ball harder, she's faster, she has a better serve, she has better ground strokes, she has more variety, she has a higher tennis IQ, etc.

Lol when Patrick asked Chrissy how she got over it when Martina owned her for like 13 matches in a row I screamed. I think if you locked Sharapova on any featured court with Serena and told her she couldn't leave until she won a match you'd never see her again.

The WTA should really consider giving Serena a bye whenever she play Sharapova.
Fed vs. Nole XLV later this week. Winner takes the lead in the H2H. It's not looking good for Roger already since they're expecting it to be an indoor match due to rain in the forecast.

For me its because I felt it brought out the best in them both. The best tennis I have seen Roddick play was against Federer. That 09 Wimbledon final was just insane. They came up in the game together as well. Most thought or knew Federer would win those matches, but Roddick would do just enough in the course of the match to put a glimmer of thought in your head.
Roddick also was not ashamed to admit that the "rivalry" was one sided. But he still went out there and fought.
Masha just seems to roll over when she plays the queen.

Excellent analysis my dude. No arguments from me. At least Roddick battled and didn't get washed almost every time like Maria.
