Nike and JB taught you well.
In the original cost of sneakers, product and development and marketing factor in. In retros there's almost none of that. That's the most expensive part of creating the shoe. Not having it made in a sweatshop in Taiwan or china.
JB and Nike's quality dropped because they don't give a %%%%.
Compare that to New Balance. Which typically has Made in England/US alongside their China...sneakers. Quality has remained the same. Why? Because they care.
Nike and JB just know people will continue buying their kicks, so we get the same crap. Does McDonald's improve their menu when sales drop and competition isn't as abundant?
1st thing who the hell wears new balance and secondly no popular athlete I know of is sponsored by them so their quality has to be great for ppl to buy them and the supply & demand for them isn't the same as Nike, JB, or even Reebok in that matte. It's McDonald's is to Wendy's. Wendy's has better food for a lower price but just because of the name they'll go to McDonalds!!!

I'm really happy to see RBK make a comeback with Iversons hoping the All-Star Vs are being retroed.P.S. Yes I'm young but you gotta understand the value of the dollar is going down so prices have to go up so GROW UP THAT'S LIFE!!!

I loved this shoe, the only shoe I owned in 6th grade that I could get my parents to buy me (was this for 100 or like 3 beaters for 60)
I make money to buy these, but out of principle im not going to pay 25 more dollars out of principle.
Pearlized I dont even know how different that will be.
if i caught one on sale or could use a bday coupon i'd possibly consider
