90 days I believe. Some states allow winners to be anonymous. No preregistration, which can be scary if a ticket gets lost or stolen. I ebelieve you can write your name/info on the back. Most officials will look at video surveillance if any issues arrive about who owns a "ticket". But that usually never happens.. The bigger issue is when people do office pools and exclude someone who feels is a "regular". It's rarely worth the hassle to do a lottery pool. $3/week will yield you the same end results imho.

I would wait like 17 days, fly to some random state across country, claim in in a random lottery office, drive straight to the airport, fly to canada 
 
Do winners give a little something to the person who sold them the winning ticket, similar to throwing a few chips to the dealer at the casino?
