As a 3rd option I still don’t see it. You see on his own team a guy like Vucevic (high volume scorer, so-so 3 ball, poor defender) struggling with not being the focal point anymore.

Volume guys need touches to get in rhythm. As a third option, you’re cutting his touches and asking him to space so your top 2 options can work. And he’s providing no value on the other end of the floor to make up for that.

So yea if Bron is going to miss chunks of games, sure DDR or Russ can help you. But as a third option in the playoffs he’s a liability.

Nah derozan is a mid range threat vuc numbers should be a lot better than what they are rn he’s missing a lot of open shots and easy floaters . Russ can’t provide instant offense like derozan . Demar started seeing double teams last couple of games . He gets to the line more and averages way less turnovers . Where’s the offense coming when ad goes to the bench you can’t just rely on Lebron making plays . Westbrick never attracts double teams

If I have AD on the block, or have LeBron in the PnR, I’m gonna have DeRozan at 16 feet shrinking the floor?

Or I’m gonna have AD initiating from 30 feet out to make it easier on Demar to work in the midrange?

You’re asking where’s the offense when AD is on the bench? Their issues have always come with LeBron on the bench. In a playoff environment he’s playing 40+ like all the stars do. So you’re really just trying to keep things together for those 8 minutes or so, which they managed to do the last time they were healthy in the playoffs

We should devote more energy to laughing at antidope and the San Antonio Spurs organization for losing DeRozan in free agency for nothing after not appreciating him the whole time he was there and thinking he wasn't a winner and now leading the Bulls to the top of the east. Oh and they traded Kawhi Leonard for him after he pulled a Ben Simmons and scammed the team with a fake doctor when the Spurs gave him the same diagnosis and load management program that he then went on to utilize in Toronto to win a championship.
