I agree with you 100%.
HB more skilled
I would give him multiple looks.
Who guards Kyrie?
JR should cook Curry
I agree with you 100%.
I would give him multiple looks.
I would start off with Klay on him.
Put Steph on JR
yes i always blamed kobe for that finals loss vs detroit. dude had a bad matchup was getting locked up by tayshaun and refused to pass the ball. took the challenge and failed. shaq ate and we wouldve had a chance if dude wasnt chucking so hard in that series.
You know Allen Iverson had a negative Plus/Minus in 2001 vs LA
You know Kobe had a negative Plus/Minus in 2004 vs DET
You know Clyde Drexler had a negative Plus/Minus in 1992 vs. CHI
So are we going to say those 3 players should be blamed for the losses of their teams?
Are we going to question how great those dudes are because they have a negative plus/minus over a series?
See why I say bringing up LeBron having a negative plus/minus in the GSW series last years means NOTHING?
I mean he should but the more JR shoots, the fewer shots your Big 3 takes.
JR should cook Curry
All three of those players did not play well enough for their team to win the seriesYou know Allen Iverson had a negative Plus/Minus in 2001 vs LAplus and minus shows the quality and contribution to the team. He is actually one of the leaders in the NBA with a constant plus of about 9. Although in that series he was a minus. Just me bringing up what i felt was a relevant point if you dont like it then okay you can move on and say that guy is crazy and keep posting about other things.

What's the deal with DC? Transgender or something?
DC is actually Jemele Hill
Not his strength.
Kyrie has a nice post game too
I love jr. But he's so inconsistent. Hopefully he does work against curry. I have my doubts tho. Unfortunately I'll say dubs in 6JR should cook Curry
Kobe didn't play well in that series. I agree with that point. New Jack City.

just like vs the heat in 2011. if lebron actually showed up they wouldve won that series. it ridiculous to say you cant blame star players for they teams losses sometimes.
when we won him and shaq got the credit. when he losts he has to take the blame especially when he didnt show up. kind of what leaders have to do. they get the credit when things go well, when thing go bad they have to take the blame. thats how i see things.

But, are we going to acknowledge that nobody else did anything other than him and Big Shaq?
That shouldnt' be considered when placing the blame on One Kobe Bryant?

Or the TEAMS that all of those players played against were simply better TEAMS?All three of those players did not play well enough for their team to win the series
Yea but when your squad wins, SHaq and Kobe shouldn't be the only ones that get the credit because others have to contribute for the success of the team.

Again, I said this earlier.

of course role players have to show up. thats obvious. no one wins it alone but role players will never get the credit like superstars/main pieces on a championship team. . it is what it is.
Again, I said this earlier.
I picture the team in the film room rewatching game clips. Breaking down each play.
Looking at who missed rotations.
Looking at who makes the extra pass.
Looking at who hustles back on D during transition.
Coach Jackson is telling DeVean George, good job of making it back on D to contest Rip's mid-range jumper.
Luke, good job for making that extra pass for that open GP jumper.
ALL of those things are needed for the victory.
Those things ALONG WITH Shaq and Kobe doing their thing = Road to success.
So again, when I say it is a team that wins or loses, ALL of those things are important and just having your superstars show up is never enough. You have to look under the hood
So do we ackowledge that GSW is superior to the Cavs?
other times, the other team is just far superior. simple as that. a.i vs the lakers as you pointed out. no one expected him to win.
I am not asking role players to get the credit. I am asking for the TEAM to get the credit. I know they are not going to get the credit like the stars, because they aren't the ones scoring the most points. Scoring is what gets the highlights, but I just feel this mindset/approach to single player praise/blame is not cool.
of course role players have to show up. thats obvious. no one wins it alone but role players will never get the credit like superstars/main pieces on a championship team. . it is what it is.
. so what happens when role players show up but a star player doesnt? you trying to say he should remain blameless? you got to look at everything and figure out why you lost. sometimes stars should be called out and blamed for not winning
Lastly, if a role player goes off, it is usually because the Star player has garnered so much attention that the role player is able to get open looks. So technically, we can credit the attention that a star player commands that opens up a role player to be successful.
. so what happens when role players show up but a star player doesnt? you trying to say he should remain blameless?
What I am saying is that everyone needs to do their job if the team wants to be successful.
so you are pretty much saying stars should always remain blameless. win or lose, everyone piece is just as important as the next
. i agree to disagree.
You could very well do the same thing.
so by this same logic, could we also blame star players for role players playing poorly because the star player is not giving them good looks?
